Age is a bitch isnt it? Look at the smooth oil filled arms of Shawn. Dexters traps look insane in that shot. Worst Olympia line up ever what a joke of a competition it was.

Also his Abs n Thighs has gone to complete shit. I hate tos ay it, I was a huge fan of Dennis, but he's done, age has caught up with him. The only reas he keeps placing high is that the competition is way worse then it was 8-9 years ago.

Essentially now if there was a lineup like the 90's with the crowds and growth that bodybuilding is making now and with the amount of prize money now the sport would be booming...Unfortunately one can't justify why these athletes are the ones bringing in the most revenue...Good timing just like Phil's olympias...Would never happen 1ce in the 90's...

His body, as a whole, doesn't have the same "pop" of a few years ago. His arms, in particular, have declined.

It amazes me what a mess these guys become, yates started it resembling a clapped out old banger. Some of them literally do look like they have been in car wreck and been glued back together. Before Yates the worst was probably franco sporting gyno and atrophied legs But atleast he still had density and looked like real muscle.

I guess 10 years of Pro BB at that level takes a toll on your body.
Especially when you wanna play the size game, you seem to have a window of 4-5 years at your peak (some extreme Mass Monsters like Fux etc. even shorter), from then it's downhill.

The passing years are amplified by the insane amount and variety of drugs these men take. So many years ago guys would take a rest and let their body recover but now it seems (via the visual evidence) the protocol is year round pharmacological abuse.
I still prefer Wolf over the rest of the lineup. Still a better man on and off the dais.

You should know by now he has nerve damage and that is why the calves - especially the left has atrophied. It's not because of not training it. I hope you realize that?!
I wonder how it happened? Did he inject into his calves years ago in a frantic effort to make them grow? Did he over train them? Either way it is damaged and only implants will fill it out again.

This has not changed the past couple of years. I am surprised every year people mention his calves thinking they should have improved. Don't be fucking morons - there's an injury involved from which he can't recover. His calves were never great but at least he had something in his earlier years - till he injured them and completely fucked it up. Would be really curious to hear the backstory on what happened.

Age? Al Beckles competed into his sixties. The fucked up drug regimen he's forced to adhere to is the problem. He's not even forty.

Lost fullness and he's burned out, should hang the thong up... Funny that when he looked amazing in 2006 and 2007 he was completely overlooked, but now that he's melting he's "competing" for the title... Love bodybuilding contests, he probably didn't pay his "dues" back in the days...

This shows you how good he was. In the 2015 Olympia videos he looks impressive as hell (minus the damaged calves). And in some shots even the calves weakness is not as obvious. When I saw some of these photos he impressed me the most. But then it is clear from other photos that he was not at his best - but still came in with very good conditioning.

This. His arms, especially in poses with arms in front of him like the mm, seem to be lacking fullness in the brachialis area. Its strange to see how dense they were in that same pose in those older pics.
