According to "sexperts", Tasers are used in S & M sessions. It was made popular for prisoner-control in Vietnam, and was introduced to American S & M by these same former prisoners of war. (Mind you, over 25% of the prison population in America are Vietnam-era vets. Many men in prison have been deeply traumatized by war.) Should the jury determine that James had been engaging in consensual sex at the time of her death, regardless of how rough that sex might have been, chances are her death could be ruled "accidental". Recently, in California, a dominitrix "accidentally" killed her client when he didn't know when to stop with "the choking". The court ruled the death accidental.
The law can be very interesting. Almost as much as sex.
-
The dominatrix DIDN'T tape the guy's mouth shut, put him in a car trunk, & burn the body. She was also doing a job he was paying her to do. Melissa wasn't. There are big differences here. Not to mention, Nevada ain't California.
-
I see your point, Mike. So would a savvy attorney. Trust
me when I say there are "hired guns" out there who can
turn this case around and have you weeping for C & K,
and sending money to their defense fund. Apparently,
the couple cannot afford one. Alas, they're not the Ramsey's
of Colorado after all whose estate was worth a cool billion.
Nor is Muscle & Fitness coming to their rescue. National Enquirer
certainly stands to profit, however. Not surprisingly, BOTH
rags share the same CEO, a man in deep dept as a result of
purchasing Weider's empire. Smart of him to bet on
both ends of the table, eh?
-
well actually the dominatrix DISMEMBERED the guys body!! Chopped him up with the help of her boyfriend and they gpt rid of the pieces
I am pretty shocked at the ruling in that particular case....the jury was pretty stupid
-
The one thing that perhaps the autopsy report has determined is whether or not melissa was drugged before or after she was tasered. If after, then perhaps the tasering was part of a sex act. If she was drugged before, then she could not give consent as she was not 100% in her right mind or coherent. Either way, the strangulation with a ligature PLUS the taping of her mouth indicates not death by taser...perhaps she was still alive when the car was set on fire.
I think she was drugged, tasered, mouth taped shut, strangled to death...and then body disposed of
-
Your sequence of death works with Intent to Kill, my dear Buffalo.
But why would they want to end this young woman's life, and destroy
theirr own? Was Melissa pregnant with Craig's baby, and threatening to
have it? Was she blackmailing C & K by threating to inform a) The
Authorities or b) Their Drug Suppliers? Or did Kelly simply learn
during a cat-fight confrontation with her menage mate that her
charming husband had actually AUTHORIZED Melissa's credit card
purchases. That Mel wasn't stealing from them at all. Not now, not ever.
That it was Craig instead who was betraying her. Thus, by murdering
Melissa, Ms. Fitness was destroying her entire family, and giving the
whole fitness culture a kick in the balls too.
In which case, Craig will at some point want to turn on Kelly. But
only after a plea bargain is struck to minimize her sentence, and
maximize his own publicity. Honestly, Buffalo, prison doesn't look
so bad when you're getting celebrity treatment; detox included.
-
wow...sounds like a soap opera...
fitness getting a kick in the balls?? I suppose if the girls are using some heavy shit
The motive for murder??
Blackmail..maybe Melissa threatening to tell Kelly something that Craig didn't want her to know.....
Meth induced paranoia/rage/stupidity/rage
-
More exciting than the Academy Awards, Buff.
Imagine Jennifer Anistan and Brad attempting
to murder Angelina Jolie?

Buff, I think it is a figure of speech. She just didn;t want to say enlarge pussy lips and clit

Are you kidding me?? Angelina would kick the HELL outta Jennifer AND Brad put together with one hand tied behind her back and holding Zahara in the other!! 8)
besides..if Brad is gonna kick any chick's ass it wouldn't be Angelina...it would be Jennifers! He knows where he gets the most action ;D

Barbarian Brother David Paul is coming over at 4 p.m.
to help take the cramp I got from this arousing
dialogue with you OUT from between my shoulder blades.
You big kids are all the "action" I need. Ooouch! Anymore,
and I'll require a bodycast. Then I'll really be ready to
shoot a cover.
P.S. You know David, right? Didn't you work together
in Hawaii?
-
The taser in titus's case was used for murder from my perspectibe. Afterall Melissa James wasa found in the trunk of Kelly's Jaguar.
-
Yes me and David and Peter are friends. Say hi to him. His agent is living here now. She called me to tell me David is coming out for a couple weeks to shoot for Kennedy's magazine. Waiting to hear back from her. Teg this is all in fun here. And yes I do eat with this mouth. It's about all I can do now until I lose the weight. Plus I know girls like it.
-
You EAT with that mouth?
..yeah, he eats enlarge pussy lips and clits.

Lose weight?? Like Israel Kamakawevo-ole? Buff, hunny, you're going
to be SMALL in no time. Dust, in fact. So let your body go. And grow!
Some men are born to be bears or buffalo. Besides, I'm a
chubby-chaser. P.S. Joanne F. is wonderful. You can learn a lot from
that gal. I myself used to live in Hilo. EVERYTHING grows huge there
in the tropics.

that taser def played a part whether sexual or for harm. the duct taped on the head could poss play sexual too, bondage s&m stuff. the nets full of that $hit. some swingers like that kink, some sr8ts like it too. otherwise the duct taped face/head can def be sign of hate/anger crime. someone didnt want/couldnt see that girls face. the burning of the body was kinda like a sign to esponge the perp/s of the crime, make it disappear more so than rid the body. the burning in tandem with the taped head show there could be more physco implications r involved in this crime. the fact of the car belongs to the wife, the question, why her car. with the girl in the trunk, it wont look like she stole it. they say that people leave clues behind in hopes of being caught, makes you think. maybe the jag got $hitty gas mileage although they usually tend to leak oil.

Well done, Lion; you've obviously studied criminal behavior.

or they are just stupid, lazy zonked out on whatever drugs or a combination of everything.

AND/Or watched a lot of
1. CSI Las VEgas
2. CSI MIami
3. Law and Order
4. Law and Order SVU
5. Law and Order Criminal Intent
6. Fugitive reruns.
7. JUdge Judy.
and a whole slew of others.
One of the problems created by these shows is that just about everyone now is well versed in the vocabulary. The jurors have an unrealistic expectation of what the criminalists can accomplish. It's referred to as being the "CSI effect" and it is everywhere.
People unrealistically expect the Prosecutors to be like Sam Waterston's character in Law & Order and the crime scene to be handled by Gil Grissom or whoever.

Sounds like a good "problem" to me. The more ordinary people know,
the more EXTRAORDINARY the "professionals" will have to be.
-
God, this botched murder and disposal job wouldn't even make for a good episode of SpongeBob
-
But those shows are "shows"...they hype what they want to hype about crimes, techniques etc and leave the actual facts laying in the dust half the time. I don't even bother watching those shows...especially when they have either a cop or a coroner walking up to a body that has been decomposing for 3 days in hot house conditions and standing 5 inces away taking notes.
That damn shit would knock you off your feet...you'd have to have a breathing apparatus on to get that close...ever smelled a hot decomposing body?? It wreaks...
But it's just like in the movies when they show Tommy Lee Jones walking 5 inches away from hot flowing lava from a volcano and he doesn't even get his eyebrows singed...it's all bullshit.
-

now about about that bertil fox story.?

There are limits to what can be accomplished in every incident as well as within time frames.
You DONT get DNA test results back in 2 days let alone 2 hours. It's possible but highly unlikely to happen in every case everywhere.
The same person doesn't run the PCR machine as well as do fingerprinting in a fume hood using superglue. These are composite characters.
Time and Money Constraints play a huge role in this area.
It is referred to as " unrealistic expectations".
You know, you and I probably agree on more things that we disagree. You may want to think about that.
The DNA-PCR time frame thing will change though as the machines become cheaper and everyone gets one.
I am not underestimating the intelligence of anyone who is on the jury yet it is painfully obvious that many people simpy don't understand what is going on or what is being talked about even though they know all the words.
-
the producers of sitcoms/features often base some info (especially tech.info.) on some factual info. so whether it was read in a text book, seen on tv, or told if the info is true its true, the origin does not matter. ramazon, thank you for the compliment, it does take one to know one, i'm sure you know that. :)

Yes, and I think we'd both agree that reality is subjective; it's between the ears. There's always going to be "the shadow" to consider, which changes according to one's personal position. We yearn for science and more facts and
figures (and CSI-type shows) to help us make decisions, ease our doubt, take our anxieties away--esp. as a juror. What great people we are: so wanting to do
the right thing; so wanting to learn the right way. So wanting to land on the moon. And willing to do whatever it takes to get there.
Meanwhile, if you'd like to write to Bertil Fox personally, I'd be happy to put you in
touch. I visited him several times in the Caribbean; and that prison he's in is straight out of "Midnight Express". Still better than the gallows that a priest
and the island's executioner had prepared "just for him", some believe.
You know, you and I probably agree on more things that we disagree. You may want to think about that.

oh.. hey ramazon, copy the " [/QUOTE] " ( without the quotations ) then put that at the end of wherever you want to write.
Then after you are finished making your statement, remove the slash.
Then put it in there again if you want to continue.
-
RE: Bertil Fox- nah. Thanks anyway. He probably is a nice guy- apart from the murderous rampage and all.
He murdered those two women. Simply as that.
" She reached for the gun and we wrestled and it just went off!"... shheesshh. How gullible does he think the people are? Is it true that the jury was deadlocked but 1 vote away from acquittal in the first trial?
-

I am not busting your balls Lion ( if you're a guy- my apologies if you are female for the lack of an appropriate comment ). However, just about anyone who reads Patricia Cornwell, Sue Grafton, Kathy Reich, R. Ressler, John Douglas, Hazelwood or any of the plethora of books written by the ex FBI Profilers know most of this information.
Shit, the tv show, Criminal Minds with Mandy Patinkin guy covers this very topic pretty much on a weekly basis.
Much of what you had written had been expressed on other boards. I wasn't aware that you are a criminologist and certainly have not followed her career to know that she received a degree in criminology as well.
I regret that you took it as personal as you did.

Bertil's 1st trial. They had just 4 hours to deliberate the verdict. (That's the law in St. Kitts; 4 hours.) And they found themselves unable to decide. Thus, a second trial was called for, and he was found guilty. What made the difference was his clothes, his attitude and the new aggressive prosecutor called in from another island. /quote]

Someone has probably already sent you a pm advising you on this matter of quote and end quote stuff. I will make my attempt here. .
Insert [ / quote] after the part of the quote you wish to reference. This highlights all the preceding words as being that of the person who made the original post. Then type your response.
After your response, type in [ quote ] so that the person's continuation of the original comment is highlighted, distinct from what you have just written.
Then whenever you wish to make further commentary on that post, type in "[/quote]" This again highlights the preceding section you are about to reference. Enter your comment.
Essentially you must surround whatever part of the comment in quotations which is done by this [ quote ]....[ / quote] function.
and so on.
edit: i had to go back to put spaces inside the brackets as it was screwing up the post...lol...
There are no spaces inside the brackets when you type the "/quote" or just "quote".

You're doing fine!
To quote a part of a comment, you have to put it in quotations. This is done by putting [ quote] at the start of the section. You then have to put [/ quote] at the end of the section. This highlights the section in a sort of blue color.
Your comment will then appear directly underneath. There will be no color around your words.
YOu then skip a line when you are done your comment. You don't need to but it helps in the beginning to separate this into steps.
You then type in [quote ] so that the remainder of the original post is highlighted.
There is already an endquote at the conclusion of the post. So you don't need to do that part.
If you wish to make further comment on anything else within the original post, you just continue on in the same fashion: quote and then endquote at the start and finish of the particular section.
Remember, there are no spaces within the brackets.
It's only simply for those people who know how to do it. Once you get the hang of it, you'll wonder how it was that it ever eluded you. lol. :D

I was not aware that people actually enjoy being hit with 50000 volts. I do understand that it is the amps that kills ya. However, 500 women ( allegedly the number of women who have posed for this website ) can't be all wrong. Jesus, Mary and Joseph, now I AM confused. Must've been all the tasering I had last night...Seriously, SFU, that's EXACTLY the data I'm looking for re this
instrument and its many uses. BTW, a doctor once told me that hardcore bodybuilding attracts people who really enjoy intense pain. Do you supposed that's true? How do the amps kill you? Is it like a mini electric chair? Are they
accumulative and a certain amount of recovery time is needed?

Holy sheet, I am writing a note to Ramazon about the tasers etc when Chief Wiggum pulls out a Taser and shocks Homer. He turned a dial to increase the voltage so it must have a sort of rheostat. After all, the simpsons have never lied to me before.
It's funny because it's true.

Buh-ZAAR!! Tell me, how did his scalp reply to the stimuli? Goose bumps or new hair growth? Hey, maybe we're on to something here, SFU. Ready to split the royalties? Think we could get UCLA to fund the research for hair growth studies? Taser clinics, anyone?

I am actually beginning to like the way your responses appear. I hunt thru the post to find which part is yours. so it's all good either way. Let me know when you have read the messages. I would like to find out how a member is alerted to receiving a priv mess: does it flash or does a new announcement window pop up?
I am now thinking about licking 9V batteries while having sex. maybe this will have the same effect as the taser. I will keep everyone informed.

okay...see the simulated QUOTE tags below?? I changed their appearance slightly so you could actually SEE them in the post.....well whatever text appears IN THE MIDDLE OF THE 2 QUOTE TAGS will be QUOTED
Then YOU type your reply text AFTER that last quote tag...NOT WITHIN THE TAGS or it will get all jumbled up with the text you are trying to quote.

You're so FUNny, S&A, and accurate. Life/death, in this case, exceeds the

I agree, Buff. Hollywood is about creating illusions: smoke and mirrors. Often life, and most often death, stinks.

You cover a lot of bases, Midknight. Thanks for sharing the "stimulation"! My
heart is still pounding! On the subject of stimulation, do you think a low-voltage dose of electricity can stimulate muscular growth? Sorta like bio-electrical-stimulation machines used for post-surgical rehab. Could this be the next
trend in bodybuilding? And perhaps baseball, too?
