He says eat like that for 3-6 months and then you need to switch back to clean food so you don't get health problems like him lol. Wtf any one that follows a diet like that is going to become addicted to that shit food. You probably ruin yourself for life. This is garbage. You will be a slob the rest of your life eating tons of junk until you die. It's like telling someone to high dose meth for 6 months and then come off.
-

Senior year of high school right there. ;D

Hey Joe
Is it indolence or stupidity?
You don't get wealthy by being stupid or lazy. So wrong on both.

You don't get wealthy by being stupid or lazy. So wrong on both.
Then you need to stop being both if you expect some success.

This is such a dumb video lol nobody wants to get to 315 from 270 in a month because it's shit weight i don't care what anabolics you're on
-
"Admit that you are under-eating!"
"I don't feel sorry for those who lack the discipline to eat more"
"I don't believe you if you tell me you can't eat more than you're eating now"
"You must not excuse yourself from eating what you are supposed to when you are supposed to"
"Carry mayo with you and add lots of it to everything"
"Dip potato chips in honey"
"Always have a jar of peanuts in your car"
"It takes less than 50 seconds to eat two candy bars"
"Never drink any fluids that don't have calories"
"Above all, you must accept the inarguable fact that you must put more food into your mouth"
"Remember - If you want to beat the man, you've gotta out-eat the man!"
-
Oh brother, takes me back to when I would buy 2 king size snickers bars and a litre of full fat milk and eat it on the way home from the gym ::) 1600 kcals of peace in 4 minutes.
-
Guy on the video are out of breath just speaking seated.

I believe most of it. I'm sure the calorie counts, etc.... are probably off. I remember the logs from when he was really big, and it was just McDonalds, Little Debbie, Wise Chips, ice cream, etc.... The cost wasn't that bad, more like $20- 30 a day. Also the lifestyle that was lead wasn't super active. It was drive to drive through, drive to work, desk job handling Elitefts, lift weights, sit, lift weights, sit, etc....
Most of those guys will admit that it was nowhere near healthy, it was simply what was needed to get, and stay in the #308, SHW, etc.... classes.
Also, they didn't touch on the post script, which was that after years of that, plus heavy lifting, it took him a year and change to get back to semi normal in terms of mobility, etc....
Here are a few pics through the years -

I think the worst thing I have ever done wrong was eating an excess of calories. I was a lean sprinter in college but I wanted to be big. I took those awful gain weight shakes of the time. This is in the late 70's and early 80's. Those shakes were full of saturated fat. I also took for a period this stuff called wateon. Two tablespoons were something like 600 calories. It had to be pure bacon liquid bacon fat. I kept it up for almost 10 years. Did I gain weight and get stronger? Yes, but I also increased my fat % a lot and who knows what health consequences.
-
Absolutely pointless eating more than say 250 calories over maintenance whilst trying to gain quality weight naturally
-
Don`t forget to rinse your beef! ;)

Hey dumbshit, did you understand the context of that video?
-
Crust, I wish I had trouble gaining weight. I remember those days. The only limit to how much I could eat was my wallet. Getting up in the middle of the night to slam a protein drink.
How much would you pay for a weeks vacation where you could eat everything you wanted nonstop without gaining a pound?
-
Hey dumbshit, did you understand the context of that video?
Joe potato starts about 'understanding the context', fucking ironic LOL!
Yes, it's about having the right mindset to eat, eat and eat some more in order to become a fat fuck. I find it hard to understand why a thoughtful person like John isn't criticizing Dave for his impulsive & unhealthy bulking habits, maybe because he knows that Dave is stubborn guy...

Thanks for showing us that you totally missed the context of that video. Now go back to your smith machine bench presses and bosu squats.

Are you sure it wasn't Crunchy KitKats and "wine gummies"?

Oh my bad potato Joe, maybe you can enlighten us by explaining the cryptic context of that video? Does it cover subtle hints that 99.99% of us dumb Getbiggers fail to notice?

Im not into competing or anything like that, so maybe I missed the cryptic message. However, I will take a stab at it:
1) eat a lot of calories to grow
2) if you really want to gain weight, you have to be consistent and dedicated and not miss a meal
3) it doesnt matter what food you eat, you will grow if you train heavy and eat a lot
I can't think of any other cryptic message the video was trying to portray. And if there was a cryptic message, why be cryptic about a fucking diet? Just say what you want to say. Not too sure why the video has to rely on some cryptic message. ::) ::) :-\ :-\
-
Have to assume not ONE of you read the disclaimer.

Proper nutrition combined with proper insulin use gains weight. I got out of hospital 107kg 9 days ago, I'm 114kg now and back on way to being my 'normal' weight around 118-120kg. The diet in the video posted wouldn't be advisable to do everyday or you'd get obese and I'd imagine performance would suffer.

Absolutely not and they know that. That was purely to gain weight to move to a bigger weight class.
-
A gallon of whole milk per day and 20-rep "breathing squats" to blast through plateaus oh brother
It worked for me. I drank up to three gallons a day and the squat became my favorite exercise. JC Hise was the Man. ;D

Do you also tell this to your clients when you're not capable to explain things?

Eat consistently more than your caloric needs, got it, but I told it in other words. Potato Joe didn't liked my answer, but as usual he's not capable to explain why.
-
-
I'd rather be a lean skinny fuck than those walking heart attacks.
-
Are you sure it wasn't Crunchy KitKats and "wine gummies"?
No, snickers for gaynz and kit kats for cuts.
-
I'd rather be a lean skinny fuck than those walking heart attacks.
When the choice for a natural is skinny cut with health benefits-or puffy skinny with a larger stomach, the choice is easy

Here's the secret to weight gain:
Take food and put in mouth.
Chew and swallow.
Repeat until weight is gained.

how About putting your money where your big mouth is and explain your training philosophy to all us. You're trainer, lets hear it. Either you're that stupid or just trolling.

What has my view on training to do with the topic of this thread? I'm just asking you for an explanation after you said I was wrong. I guess this is too hard for your brains....

Seems you're either incapable or didn't even bother to read the disclaimer. My guess is both. Do you even train? (serious question)

You're clearly a knucklehead who refuses to answer a simple question. Why should I hire someone like you as a coach, since you're incapable to pay attention? (serious question)

1. YOU shouldn't. You couldn't afford me plus if you're anything in person like you are on here chances are good I wouldn't take you as a client.
2. You really expect me to pay attention on an internet message board the same as would my clients? Are you trolling?

1. No I won't. Not that I believe you don't know your stuff about lifting weight, but because of your piss poor communication skills. I only asked you for arguments why you disagreed with me, so no personal attack or whatsoever. But being an dumb and arrogant cluster fuck you got a big mouth.
2. I guess you don't realize that forums are also used for business deals, so again, keep your big mouth shut. And to answer the second question, read answer #1.

One of the main reasons I come here is for business (marketing). But I spend most of my marketing time is spent on social media.

OK..

That being said, go back and read the disclaimer of what that video was about. It wasn't about growing, it wasn't about bodybuilding. The only thing it was about was gaining weight to move up a weight class for powerlifting. The more weight packed on the stronger his lifts. I didn't answer because it p self explanatory. Is there another question you asked? If so ask again because I'm not going back through this thread to find it.

So my explanation was wrong because I wasn't referring to those amazing powerlifters ::) I was only focussing on the nutrition part, since I'm not interested that much into powerlifting.
1) Oh, and may I remind you that you've stepped on stage as well in the past, mr anti-bodybuilding?
2) Oh, and I do follow both John Meadows and Dave Tate since I believe that we can all learn from each other, no matter what our specific goals are when we're lifting.

Watching his vids, he trains pretty intelligent, but he eats like a bloated pig. I wonder why John even invests time in him by helping him with his nutrition.
