You're ok, dude. Heart attacks and cancer ONLY happen to people who eat the stuff you've mentioned in prior ravings. Coast is clear.
-
PVC's, harmless but still reason to get them checked on a 12 lead EKG.

Usually A-Fib is constant but def the reason why he needs an EKG.

The heart is an electrical system.
Electrical systems can break down.
Therefore, your heart will eventually break down.
You will die.
Mathematical formula:
H = Heart
E = Electrical system
Break down = B
D = Die
HxE squared + B = D

An actual heart attack feels like someone sitting on the center of your chest. Symptoms right before a heart attack may include fatigue, dry heaves, and profuse sweating. If you think you're having a heart attack, take a few aspirin and get to the ER. A couple of false alarms is better than once getting there too late.

Some people have all the symptoms of a heart attack, some have very few, and some have none at all. If you feel as though you are having one you call an ambulance, never drive or have someone drive you either. Then chew up 4 baby aspirin. Medics have life saving drugs and equipment, and also EKG in their ambulance. Plus, they alert the ER if you are truly having an MI, so the room is ready when you get there, also if you're having a STEMI, the cardiac cath lab will be ready and waiting for you to open up your blocked artery when you get there. Temporary arrhythmias are perfectly normal, almost everyone has them. A lot of people go into short runs of Afib and come right back out of it. On the other hand, if you're symptomatic( short of breath, chest pain, etc) you need to get checked out.

If you keep a constant flow of beer in your blood - no need to worry.

Is it like your heart missing a couple of beats then beating a faster and heavier for a couple of seconds?
I've been getting it since I was very young, I think it's because I'm 6'4. I asked a doctor once and he said it's harmless.

Lol, x2. The fluttering heart was just panic from the pain of the reflux. Drove myself to a patient first one time and didn't think I'd even be able to get out of the car my heart was beating so fast. Once I got in and said I was fine, I still didn't believe them. Went to my doc and they set me up for an X-ray and after drinking this nasty paste and viewing the results, they said I had bad reflux. Oh brother.

My mates grandad apparantly saved his own life many years ago when he recognised he was having a heart attack he laid down and put his legs in the air. Now i'd expect that means the blood flow is slowed and increases the amount around the heart. Strange because i thought blood had to be thinned to prevent a heart attack

My buddy just had one no pain at all just short of breath. My dad had two one major never had a chest pain in his life.

Just die already you giant waste of paint thinner.

I can tell you what a TIA feels like. It was about 10 years ago and I was hating my job at the time and was really wound up having to return from vacation. I woke up that morning with severe heartburn. Never had that first thing before. I get a mile from the house and sitting at a stoplight. All of a sudden everything turns pitch black. I have my eyes open but cannot see a thing. I slowly regained my vision but had no idea who I was, where I was or how to even drive. I was like a newborn. I still remember this vividly, I sat there and there was a red truck in front of me. When he moved from the light somehow I had regained enough memory to know to release the brake. I coasted to the next light and had pretty much regained my thoughts. I drove to work, called my doc and they sent me to the hospital. After tests I had blockage near my brain which caused it evidently.

Johnny,
Don't leave anything up to chance.
Go to your local primary care doctor and have yourself checked out. Just the mere mention of you feeling a strange sensation in your chest will prompt the doctor to, at the very least, run an EKG and, assuming the EKG comes back normal, he will still send out for a basic set of labs (CBC, CMP and with a special emphasis towards a lipid panel).
Any time you feel something completely out of the norm (in other words, not your common acid reflux) in the vicinity of your chest, it's best to go in and see someone about it.

Had it checked years ago but they found nothin because it rarely happens , i do feel its the electrical system having hiccups
It does feel like the heart picks up crazy intensity and speed very freaky seems an ok way to die though
How long does a heart attack last? My episodes last 5to 10 seconds thee 10 seecond ones really freak you out
-
A heart attack is life changing - you probably have some problems but far from lethal. Nonetheless let a doctor check it if you're unsure.
The father of a friend of mine had two(or even three) and his wife told me how it went... he was literally "battling" death.

Marty, do you feel weak or dizzy during these spells?

I for one am relieved that we have so many Cardiologists on this board. It's nice to know that you can get professional medical advice whenever you want, for free. Who needs health insurance when you have getbig. :D
