Anyone else feel like this? MAkes sense I guess, fat chicks wear black to look smaller. White on the other hand makes you look swoll as fuck.
-
Black sets off my pasty vascularity nicely. Don't wear white because I'm too grubby. Also I don't believe in bleach.
Red is the problem. A red tshirt takes me from hot guy to prematurely ejaculating doofus in 6 seconds.
-
I shyed away from white because of gyno...now thats fixed, im lookin forward to wearing white wife beaters and simple white t shirts

True. Black can make you look lean and the arms huge, Im 220 and look about 190 everywhere else moment the shirt goes on though. Traps delts and chest deflate

JEsus if we're talking wife beaters where black at all times, white looks like trailer park trash. Im talking about the fitted vnecks we all wear to the club ;D

I find it's the opposite. If you have good delts, a big back and half decent arms you will look great in a plain back T...especially on 5+iu of pharm grade growth...very volumized, shrink wrapped with spider veins on the firearms and you can just that the person is shredded under there....black tanks are also the best imo..

Any clothing that is too tight, regardless of color, makes people look fatter.

Dumbest thing I ever read.
The only way tight clothing will make you look fat is if you are fat. Genius.
-
I usually only were black in t shirts, cause i like to emphasize the arms and de emphasize chest, shoulders etc.

White emphasises size and cuts with a tan. Black removes all hidden muscle so only what is shown is noticed.
It also depends on whether you give a fuck or, conversely, if you want to hide size. Wearing a suit I look big but not like a musclehead. If I wore a tight shirt (near impossible at my size cos most people with my neck size are fatsos) I'd be stereotyped as a meathead.
One of my favourite t shirts is navy and I still get looks/schmoes perving. You can't hide 110kg of muscle behind a colour unless your Muslim.

Vertical stripes are "thinning"
-
OP notices incipient smallness, launches pre-emptive strike on all-black wardrobe as a diversion.

Apparently horizontal stripes are thinning and vertical the opposite. Check out pics and it kind of make sense.

The assumption was that the wearer was overweight to begin with. Obviously, a stick person would still look like a stick person regardless what they wore.
-
True in most cases, but a tip:
IF you have pale skin, like whites like me have in the winter time, and want to emphasize your pumped up arms like say in the club, wear an completely black tight tshirt with minimal sleeves. Your arms WILL stand out and everyone assumes the rest in big too. Thank me later :)
-
I wear black long sleeved shirts at work so people dont mistake me for a stupid bodybuilder.
-
real men wear flannel ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::)

I don't think so, Tim!

Wodehouse ftw! Psmith is my role model.
Fry & Laurie were perfect in those roles.

I know, I shock millennials showing them "Jeeves and Wooster." They have no idea of Hugh Laurie as anyone other than "House."
Pity they couldn't give Fry a recurring guest role. They were considering making him one as a doctor who was every bit as good as House, but was great with people on a personal level.
-
What really makes you look small? Smallness. Check the scale and up the dose. Why not, you'll be 21 forever.

House never really grabbed me but I would have tuned in for that. I was never sure if the name of the show vaguely alluded to Wodehouse but I'm probably pushing it since my few viewings of it turned up no evidence.
I imagine the P.G. purists out there hate the TV adaption. It's what led me to the author though so I'm a fan. Fry's delivery as Jeeves still rings in my head when reading & I couldn't ask for a better butler.
As much as I like him I still haven't gotten through a lot of what Wodehouse wrote. Nice to have these things to look forward to.

I would think that a purist would really like those productions.

You know how it is though when you read a book first and then an actor arrives to jar your mental image of the characters.
Maybe they do appreciate it after all. Apparently there are even Wodehouse societies out there. I haven't investigated. Newt enthusiasts, most likely. They're probably grateful for the exposure.
