Title: Arnold training in Beretta Island 1994
Post by: Papper on October 11, 2015, 05:34:46 AM

Risk of repost but I think many haven't seen this. Notice how Arnolds form is strict and tension at the top, such a treat to see him at it.

Anyone who believes those two are actually pressing 315 in that shit movie is a pure retard.

I reviewed this flick while at MuscleMag. Franco's attempt at a movie career was beyond laughable. Dude's ugly, a manlet, has a wack structure, and he has an annoying accent.

Arnold threw him a bone appearing in this barfy flick. The workout scene makes zero sense in the context of the film.

I know it, real weights used in a movie? Don't think so.
Never saw the film (luckily), it looks like pure shite...

Arnold was in his early 40's there so unimpressive looking ...that's why The Rock is presenting his "muscle image" in movies  with a little more precaution

WooSSHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Yeah you should teach him

 ::)

He executes with form, pace and tension on top. Very consistent.

Good form is not about not cheating or going slow if that's what you are reacting to, he routinely cheated to get pump

Arnold and Franco both looking tiny and unimpressive in that clip.  Franco looks skinnier (and, at 5'5", a lot shorter) than an average gymrat.

look at his spine lol, he's bent like a fishing rod, it's all downhill from there, too much strees on his lower back, zero stabilization, but don't worry honey, they don't teach you that in the gym

Fuck, this Italian toad is so embarrassing. How he won bodybuilding's top prize, ever, is forever a mystery. (Not really. His best friend is Arnold.) And the sheer craptitude of his films is staggering. The man's got NOTHING going for him, cinematically.

I came face to face with Franco backstage at an Arnold Classic and was floored with how small, ugly and idiotic he looks in person. And just to be clear, I've met a great many legends WAY past their primes, and none have appeared anywhere as close to the shittiness of "The Sardinian Samson".

Oh, brother.  ::)

Bill Pearl, for instance, is significantly older, and makes Franco look like a clown, in all ways.

Franco is a pioneer in the "all drugs" campaign. Without them, he has as much muscle as a field mouse.

Did you guys at least get to talk, or was he just a tool to everyone passing by??

Did you guys at least get to talk, or was he just a tool to everyone passing by??

I said hello and shook his hand. He mumbled something unintelligible and I smiled and walked away.

He then continued to stand where I found him, blocking everyone in the hallway, with the expression of a man who hasn't a clue what's going on.

Eventually he gimp-walked away.

On that day, the Sardinian Samson more closely resembled a sardine.
