Many Getbigger's bring their own tupperware with chicken and brown rice to Family Thanksgiving dinners. Also the same when they go to dinner with supermodels. The supermodels don't mind though because they don't really eat much...

Extra bulk limits ability to go first to third on a single to RF.
Scouts unimpressed.
MLB career ruined.

I eat a lot of meals which consist of sandwiches since I like having something prepared and possible to take on the go so that's 4 meals right there, then I have two meals which are a bowl of oatmeal with fruit and two meat and potato meals. So 8 meals a day is easy for me.

Why do you eat so many meals?

Why do you eat so many meals?
Because I'm hungry.
My current meals
2x A bowl of oatmeal with an apple
2x A pair of pink salmon sandwiches with a banana
2x A pair of egg sandwiches with crisps.
2x Chicken breast, potatoes and veg.
Unique diet, moderately high salt of peace brings epic vascularity but water retention lol. The salmon alone contains 32% the RDA of salt, then all the bread and crisps adds to that lmao. I'm eating like 9g of Salt a day but the Japanese eat like 14g on average so I'm alright.

I prefer just 3 huge meals a day. Keep it simple stupid.

Same results happen if calories and protein are the same but spread out over three to four meals. Six meals interfered with life.

I'd have to eat 1300 calories per meal if I ate 3 meals a day to make gains. I don't know how 1300 calories for breakfast possible without eating like 10 eggs, bacon, oatmeal, orange juice. There's no way I can stomach eating 10 eggs. I'd throw up from disgust. I hate eggs.
-
I used to be obsessive about it, couldn't care less what others think, I'd bring the dreaded tupperware everywhere, but I'm like that in anything I do, I get obsessive. Then gradually I turned to 3 meals and lots of snacks in between, but that was not the solution either. I'm currently eating along the lines of leangains and it has never been better. No bloat, no lethargy, can not bother myself with thoughts about food, oh, and body composition is better.

What I don't do is make sure my meals are the perfect timing etc. I just fuckin eat them when I feel like. People who perfectly time meals 2 hours apart are nuts.

I eat 1000 calorie breakfasts. It's fairly easy.

That Swedish Viking poster used to eat once or twice a day and he had a better physique than 95% of the people here.

Oatmeal, bacon, fruit, and peanut butter on whole wheat plus a protein drink. That's a good amount of calories to start the day.

Sounds pretty good.
Might go to store tonight and buy some fruit and good idea on the peanut butter and bread.

I used to wedge 6 meals into a day because that's what I was told/what was "the best". I have a big appetite, long stomach and torso though, so that is more suited to larger meals.
I take 4 meals a day now, never feel hungry and look a lot better. I just prefer to have 4 larger meals than 6 medium ones.
When I was on holiday I had half board at the Sheraton so ate like an animal at breakfast and dinner (talking three full 12" plates for both meals) and just had a small sandwich/soup at lucnh and maybe a sandwich at 1am if I was hungry.
A lot of people would prob feel bloated/sick eating such large meals but that's how my body works so bleh.

It was always a way to sell fart powder. Not realistic to eat real food that often. So, protein shakes could fill in the gaps.

does anyone drink the 5% all day you may piss tankard?

Not 6-8 meals a day, but had a friend who was adamant that "weight gainer ruined my life". Claimed his metabolism was never the same after trying to put on weight with Heavy Weightgainer 1000 or some such.

These days,2 shakes,3 solid meals.

i tend to eat 2 meals a day... sometimes 1... couple of shakes in there as well...

I used to eat 7-8x per day when I was in my early 20's training 6x/wk. You can get away with this when you are young, but your metabolism slows as you age, you get fat easier and are forced to reduce the calorie intake. I'm almost 50 and train only 2-3x/wk and eat 4x/day... high protein, moderate fat and lowered carbs (no sugars). It works well for me.

I would starve on that... I only eat solid food now. As I said, each to his own.

I would think this good advice at any age.

I eat whatever I want. But I always try to make sure I get 50-100 grams of high quality protein every few hours. For example I was out with some friends saturday, I get steak and eggs at a diner, a couple iced mochas, and some fresh fruit. From there if Im hungry for something I'll eat it. Had an apple pie with some vanilla ice-cream. I usually get frozen yogurt and smoothies post workout, I think the natural sugar is great for growth. These days my body fat never goes above 10% unless I eat VERY dirty, like stuffing my face with mcdonalds multiple times a day.

My typical breakfast is a
> huge omelet or scramble made with four or five jumbo eggs, chicken or turkey sausage (sometimes pork, like chorizo), and whatever veggies we have around (faves are mushrooms and onions), and a cheese, fried in coconut oil or Earth Balance spread
> a starch like grits, polenta, oatmeal, potatoes or rice
> a fruit or fruit juice
> coffee with half and half and sugar
There's your 1000+ calories.
If you don't like eggs, use any other protein source.

I put my eggs in pancakes, I'll use two whole eggs per pancake. Only way I can get 6 eggs down. Honey for syrup with some blueberries= money

Nice.
The reason I asked about the wrecking of one's life with six to eight meals per day is because there are people eating that number of meals when the results from fewer meals can be the same so long as total caloric and protein amounts are the same with fewer meals and that high meal frequency in the past had me practically immobilized with daily activities.
I often wonder what people who eat six to eight full blown meals do all day.

since theyre most likely retarded they probably got no job either
however if you only sleep 6-7 hours a day its easy too IF you have the possibility to eat at work / uni etc
first meal 7am
second meal 10am
third meal 1pm
fourth meal 4pm
fifth meal 7pm
sixth meal 10pm
go to bed
id never do that shit though, i need bigger meals or i would be never full at all
intermittent fasting works great when cutting. i love it.
for bulking i basically eat 3 or 4 solid meals a day, plus pre workout shake/intra workout nutrition
thats faily easy. satisfying portions. dont have to worry about food at all even if youre busy all day. just breakfast at home and prepare a bigass sandwich the day before to bring to work/uni or whereever and thats it.

lol we all used to who take it seriously...We always think we're losing intramuscular water when we're missing meals and such....If you're on the right drugs meal timing means less...Get yourself in a good breakfast geared towards bodybuilding and high protein for breakfast when you have time...To prime you for the day...During this time blend yourself a shake to drink in 3 hours....Once you drink that shake in 3 hours you can go get lunch or eat your lunch you brought to work...After work you can just eat out somewhere or get take out....Very simple...For dinner if you're at home just make another meal...There is never a reason this should be a problem..Especially if you're in offseason and on tren, gh, eq, test
