Be there, do u play?

Ive been learning alot of misfits and ramones songs. Very few chords. The problem is, the stroke pattern is challenging for me if its not all down strokes. Even all downstrokes is hard on fast songs like misfits halloween. If anyone has tips for fast constant down strokes let me know
