I think this is the ultimate place to live and work
-
when I lived in California for 1 year, I lived about 1-2 blocks away from the beach. But I don't like the summer or the beach (mostly the summer), so never stepped foot on the beach.
But I am sure after reading your posts I will have regretted this.

check with people in Nags Head and Outer Banks. It might not be a glamour as you think. Around this time, the tourism is slow, as nobody really comes to the beach when it is colder. These are not the peak months. But, the home improvement work that you might do, probably is done around this time.

I do. Love the summer and the beach. Nothing better than doing my cardio running on the boardwalk for 5 miles seeing all the nearly naked women walking around. Seeing the ocean as I run is just an amazing sight I will never tire of. The houses closest to the ocean are all multi million dollar homes in NJ. The peak crazy beach season runs from June to the end of August. September the water is still warm and the beaches are essentially abandoned.
