Black Jesus is about an everyday black man in the hood, that just happens to be Jesus. If you actually sit down and watch the show, you'll see that they maintain Christian morals, values, and ethics... they just happen to smoke a lot of weed while doing it. It's very entertaining and light hearted. The series is very non-traditional, as I've mentioned, pot smoking, drinking, and swearing, but it provides alternative ways for people to resolve their issues aside from violence, and encourages people to be better. As a minister I highly recommend this show to anyone with an open mind. While you're typical every day church going Christian probably won't appreciate it's creative way of connecting with an alternative audience, the show isn't about connecting with them. It's a great way of reaching out to alternative crowd and spreading the word of God and encouraging people to treat others the way they'd like to be treated. Not everyone connects to the Holy Spirit through church and the Holy Word of God. Some people need a little alternative entertainment. And they'll find that in 'Black Jesus'.

I watched it once and it was pretty funny. Jesus was doing foot rubs in a van and had fluff boy in there too. Good stuff.

When The Most High took the veil from my eyes and revealed to me who I was, I was forever changed. Everything now made sense and I vowed, that I'd wake up other Hebrews in any way that I could. I also, spread the gospel in my way and the REAL way to follow Christ and get into The Kingdom. Do I sin? Yes! I'm a human. But my life is unlike anything it was 5 years ago. My suspicion and what you call racism (sorry, can't be a racist, I can be prejudice) towards the system, meaning Western Civilization is well founded. Wiggs I appreciate your passion, that said I don't care if Jesus is black, white, yellow or red, the bottom line is that there is no Roman, Greek or Jew under the New Covenant. Jesus gave His life so no one would perish, it wasn't a Jewish exclusive experience.
