They also pump these animals up with steroids beforehand. Perhaps Rob should also stop taking those steroids he doesn't take.

Wonder how long it will last. A few weeks at best would be my guess.

I'm actually considering going full vegan but it just seems so unpractical when you live in the city. I imagine I'll also end up getting regular meat cravings.

I had a phase of approx. 3 years where I didn't eat meat and it was ok at best.
I'm not a meat hog but a !small! steak 1 to 2 times a week does make a difference* and is pretty tasty.
If you only eat fruit/vegetables & co. you have to stuff yourself all day which I doubt to be profitable for an employed person leading a hectic lifestyle.
All the vegan messiahs on youtube seem to be busy with cooking and eating all day... wonder who earns the money that enables to lead such an "astral" lifestyle.

*not talking about the fullness bullshit but overall feeling of vigor and well being

So he's going to watch his wife cook animal meat everyday and have that smell go through the house and stick to being a vegan? Not buying it. Although I could see DLB come out and tell people she's going vegan(all the while eating meat and taking male hormones) so that she can become the face of the vegan community and push that lie that you don't need animal protein to build big muscles.

Rob says to his wife---Lets pretend we're Vegan and that community will get behind us and it will really help push our hustle.
DBL says to Rob---OK Rob, anything you say

This.

Ethics aside, it is life and it goes on to varying degrees across the animal kingdom. People are conditioned in such  a way that they don't think about the bigger picture.

To sound like my mother, it's because we live in a throw-away society of instant gratification.  Nobody seems to give a shit about the next person and nothing is their problem; then you show them the simple realities of life and they lose their shit.

The pic of Rob dumbell pressing the 150's is exactly why numbers and stats don't mean shit. He looks like absolute crap. But I know a guy who saw a vid like the one he saw and had the same effect of him. Type of stuff I'd rather not know about but feel kinda bad to have to think this way...

So how does going vegan save animals exactly? They simply won't exist if everyone stops eating them and drinking milk. Not sure if many people will want pigs, chickens and cows as pets. ::)

Its about not beingn part of a system u disagree with. You for example probably dont buy trendy spandezx pants for gym wear or other things you find repulsive. Im trying to go vegan because i dont want to suppprt modern agribusiness for numerous ethical, and environmental reasons that i find important. If u disagree that is totally fine, but dont knock others for trying to make a small impact for what they find important
Being vegan does nothing to harm your way of life. People will always abuse the system and pollute and process shitty meat in inhumane conditions either way, so live your life how u want

Thats a pretty silly argument you presented

You vote when you buy.

Just made an observation and not an argument so chill. The only ones that seem to be overly sensitive are vegans that use the bully pulpit to preach their beliefs and trash others with opposing views.

Who the hell have I knocked but homo gains for his tactics? Oh and plant based products are part of the modern agribusiness you are trying not to support.

Yes those plants are part of agribusiness. Not nearly as much ecological or ethical impacts. I still eat fish and thats a whole another issue with many issues that aquaculturists are workijg to address. That science is fairly new

TBH, I don't think most people know what goes on in a slaughterhouse. Of course they know that's where animals get killed and processed but it leaves a different perspective when you actually see how it's done.

And people think hunting is cruel.

I hope you would at least play a few rounds of "fetch the ball" and pat him on the head saying, "good boy!" before slitting his throat.

Dogs love to play and it makes them so happy. When you die happy your meat is much more tender. Fact. My cousin worked in a slaughterhouse and said that if the animal is afraid and tense the meat turns out more tough.

I used to be pretty anti hunting until i learned what goes on in factory farms . Now i  actully interested in learning how to hunt for my own food if i did want to eat meat

i can't tell if "veganism" is gaining popularity or if it's just cause my perception, cause i watch a lot of vegan yt vids.  it's certainly moving through the yt fitness community like a virus.

anyway, i've been doing it for a couple months.  it's not that hard for me.  it's kind of fun, actually, trying to work out new things to eat given the "rules".

i don't miss meat at all.  dairy, a bit.

i will NEVER understand people who say "must be hard to get those calories in"... i could eat a million calories of processed grains a day.  people who legitimately believe they "need" animal products also mystify me.  the only thing is, yeah it's hard to get a lot of protein without getting a lot of calories in total... but protein needs are grossly overstated, imo.

one interesting effect: like falcon, my thinning hair recovered a LOT.  i think i have fewer grays, too, but that's a little harder to tell.

This!

But I think it's a good thing. It's good that OTHER people eat less or no meat. If enough people go vegan/vegetarian the demand for meat will go down along with prices. And it is better for the environment.

So when some skinny flower child brags about being a vegan express your admiration and encourage them.

I'm serious. I very, very pro vegan/vegetarian for OTHERS.
