Title: PC masters, MSI Z170A Gaming M7 questions.

I haven't built a PC in years and i'm currently building a gaming system for a friend, anybody have the MSI Z170A Gaming M7? What do you guys think of it? Her upgrade budget is a grand so i'm think a 300 buck gaming card is decent? What do you guys recommend?

The Gigabyte Z170-HD3 should suffice -- and would leave you more to spend on other components, too.
