Title: How good do you think you are spotting lies?
Post by: Never1AShow on November 23, 2015, 04:47:20 AM: They say most people way overestimate their skill at determining who is lying, even pros like cops and judges. But most people are such awful liars that it's very easy to see if you press them just a little.

Also What is your go to tell to determine if someone is lying to you?

For me it's weasel words, basically, supposedly, kind of, any hedging for something that ought to be straightforward.

With how long it takes Ron to approve accounts nowadays, that is not an unfeasible statement to make...

He wears a lie on his head, and poorly. 99.9 percent of actors are crap at acting so it wouldn't really help them. Unless you can freeze frame reality at exactly that right angle in the exact lighting you choose for the couple time a week selfie illusion shot while all pumped up or right out of the tanning bed, it doesn't help. This is why bodybuilding shows are the only place where the rubber actually hits the road physique wise. Any gym bod can snap a selfie that creates the illusion, but that ain't the same as actually being in shape.
