Title: Just got an MRI for my back.

There are more people in the US that can explain complex physics topics well than there are people who can make sense of how their health coverage works.

The average cost of an MRI in the U.S. is $2,611. Looks like your math is off.

Seriously tho, I got an x-Ray of my back last month, all I paid was the copay. But, I looked at the bill and my insurance had to pay damn near 2 grand. Wtf? Is that machine running on gold or something? It took the lady 2 minutes to do the X-ray?
