Just watched 'True Story' with James Franco and Jonah Hill, 2015. It is a telling of the story of Christian Longo who murdered his wife and three young children and then took off to Mexico to party. It was big news in Oregon when it happened in Newport, an Oregon beach town. Longo is currently on death row. It's worth your time if you are interested in true crime and great acting.

Who does Jonah Hill play, and is he fat and funny?

Who does Jonah Hill play, and is he fat and funny?
Doesn't sound like a movie that calls for Hill's merriness.

shitty, boring movie
didn't know it was a actually a 'true story' going in, but wasn't the slightest bit surprised. what a snorefest.

The 'retarded' scene alone is worth admission: "You're free now. Ya know, run free."

Who does Jonah Hill play, and is he fat and funny?
He plays Michael Finkel, a reporter and writer who is fat. There is nothing funny about this movie. It is the true story of a man who murdered his three young children and his wife. Anyone who thinks that is funny needs to get their head examined.

If you are a person who prefers action movies, you probably would be bored. This is a movie about people, not action. If you are a person who is interested in great acting, this movie has it. Appearance wise, James Franko and Jonah Hill look nothing like the people they play, there acting is what makes the characters completely believable.

Actors portray real people. If you haven't noticed, a lot of folks in the real world are fat. It only follows that there are fat actors.
