I remember the days here when those words were spoken, they'd be followed with *snickers*. Now that is no longer the case. Now following those words strike terror into the hearts of men. As a Christian we don't fear the NWO or illuminate or whatever else people claim is coming. Wiggs I appreciate your faith and trying to spread the gospel but Jesus didn't try to scare the lost into repentance nor did He try to validate Himself by predicting the end of the world. He always knew/knows who He is, you would be better off conducting yourself in a like manner child of God.
You don't need validation. Live the life you're called to, stop trying to "scare" others into Christianity. If you feel the need to warn them do it in a loving manner.

I only quote this to say if anyone has a positive belief go ahead. This is as it should be. Religion (and laws) should be a comfort and protection, not a whip. Of course people screw up, so we need punishments but....
My girlfriend is strongly religious (evangelical christian) to the point i reconsidered my spiritual stance. I am still an atheist but between religion being abused for terrorism and scaremongering I (and others) often forget it is about guidance in how to act towards others and yourself.

Although, they should be very afraid if they're not followers of Christ and of followers of God's laws. You're wrong. Yes, I'm right. Yes, what's become of us is not by accident. Just like what will become of us (read the book of Revelation). Not all of us. Only a portion of us. To answer you question, I try to wake up Hebrews all the time, in person or on the internet. I'm not out in the streets which I see nothing wrong with but I'm everywhere else awaking Hebrews and telling the truth to your people that want to listen. Religion has always been a crutch for the weak. Religion offers safety (rules, tradition and acceptance).
Christianity in its truest sense is about relationship with the Creator, and treating others with respect and love. "Religious practices" and man made traditions can fill in the unknown and "blanks" in the ideology but often times it complicates the simplicity of it all.
Lustral I find your relationship very interesting. You've mentioned your gf's belief as well as your stance. Given how difficult relationships are in general, how often do you two argue on issues, when hers are based in/on Christian principles (obviously I'm assuming this and I'm not saying her or your ideas are right or wrong based on Christianity. I've found, even in my own life, that people blindly follow ideas/agendas/practices because that's what they've always done and they can be opposed to other ideas and techniques)? You two must reach many compromises, and probably learn a great deal from one another?

I kind of agree with this, I had some major bad luck many years ago and fell into conspiratorial type thinking, I eventually snapped out of it, but I have seen others experience shitty life circumstances and turn to conspiratorial type thinking to cope with it.
