U should try Japanese sweet potatoes - they are very sweet
I put Mac nut oil and sea salt and pepper on them
I think like 350 is a good temp and take them out when they look done
Make sure to spray the tray first so they don't stick

I find that sweet potatoes cook unevenly - parts are firm, other parts are mushy. I bake at 350F for 45 minutes, no oil.
For Thanksgiving I sliced them length-wise and then cut the halves into half-moons. While the oven warmed to 400F, I sautéed the pieces in an oven-safe pan (I used butter, but oil is fine) for a few minutes and then let them finish in the oven for about 15-20 minutes, occasionally stirring them.
Uniform size gives you uniform cooking.

I wash. Cut off ends. Wrap in foil. Place on bbq at 400-500 for 1 hour.
They come out as goo.

Put in microwave, hit "potato" button.

Just do this:
1- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Coat the bottom of a glass or non-stick baking dish with olive oil, just enough to coat.
2- Wash and peel the sweet potatoes. Cut them into medium size pieces.
3- Bake in a preheated 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) oven for 60 minutes or until soft...
THANK ME LATER.
