Always made my best strength gains training two days on one day off. Every time I tried to train 6 days a week I usually get smaller and weaker. I still think two days on one day off is the way to go for size and strength gains. 5 by 5 worked pretty well for me in strength and size as well. I feel like I got the most growth from machines though, despite them never carrying over to my lifts.

Honestly 3-4 days a week two body parts a day. High intensity little rest in between sets. High intensity cardio a few days a week to stay in shape.

The more rest I get the better. You ready really need to start doing some good cardio jump rope box jumps sprints. You will be amazed what it does for you.

I'm natty and I also get DOMs like a mfer. But, the best strength gains I have got have been with weight lifting 2 days on, 1 rest, 2 days on, 2 days rest. Paired with low cardio, 3 times a week for 1 hour. Diet, very clean.

^probably one of the best all around routines you could do. Lots of built in recovery if you hit muscle groups twice a week

I have tried about every single approach and they never did anything at all, so why do more when you don't have to?

Keeping shit simple.
Gym is 4ish times per week, most stuff trained once a week.
Experimenting now with push/pull split training stuff a bit sooner. I haven't changed since "forever" so not expecting huge results, just doing this around injuries.

Strength - 8 - 12 sets of triples, one or two exercises per body part, 4x week.

20 reps of squat plus one gallon of whole milk

Don`t forget the 30 dessicated liver tabs per day as well as wheat germ oil and brewers yeast! ;D

Legs every other day

5 days a week, 10-15 min full body warm up on stairmaster, 45min to 1 hour on weights "go fast, go hard, get out" system!!!
6 days a week KETO diet, followed by 1 cheat day.

5-6 days with high volume 4 day split balls out training if I can get enough sleep in. Take out a decent sleep and I am treading water.
Not great for strength though. I think 4 days max for strength gains is most i can do no matter how much sleep or food i get in.
Do far higher volume for chest and arms than back and legs only cos i deadlift and leg press to point of thinking as clearly as wiggs after 10 double whiskies.
