Same here. Definitely a common theme with underhand deadlift grip and preacher curling dumbbells 3 times the weight you can handle. Biceps tear city

I feel bad for all of them except the retards doing cheat curls. Also the reason why do NOT go all the way down on preacher curls despite what "experts" say. Actually i never completly extend my arm on any exercises.

you are right about the preacher curls , i damm near tore my bicep doing those, took over a year for my arm to recover basically couldnt do shit for a year. i will never do preacher curls at a deep angle again, in fact i never did again

Injuries happen for many reasons. I did heavy preacher curls for 20 years and never had a problem.

Age and overtraining is a major factor. I'm just about 50, I would never attempt super heavy preacher curls now. Same goes for flat barbell bench pressing.

i was in my 20's then i think 23 or 24
being 38 now i do not train heavy anymore.

I do concentration curls against my leg leaning forward but I won't do preacher curls after watching too many of these videos. I also don't extend too low. My biceps suck enough without being torn I don't want to press the issue.
