Great message. He's right that Kai is more Mr Olympia than any of the current competitors but something is holding him back mentally. I honestly think Kai would do a great job as Mr Olympia minus the bondage posing. He's in NYC which is media capital of the world and I could really see him really doing a great job as an ambassador.
Plus his training is actually somewhat inspiring.

Why do you assume Dave had to slim down because of sickness? Maybe he wants to live past 50, unlike some retired pros/top amateurs who try to stay huge just for the sake of being huge. Then everyone wonders why they dropped dead from a heart attack. Dave is doing it right. And Jay should probably slim down within the next 10 years or so, himself.
But in general, Jay does look good these days. Seems healthy and more energetic, which I think is a direct impact of being smaller/softer. Can't imagine I'd have much energy being 300lbs+ in offseason at 5'8 or whatever he is, either.

Really? I don't understand Kai's appeal outside of the cult of BBing. People act like he is going to bring the "sport" back into the "mainstream" (as it were) but they forget that he has the ugliest, most neanderthal looking gross physique outside of Branch.

Oh, I think you mean when he went to Brazil to visit John of God. Yeah, that was a bit shady... Not sure what happened to prompt that, or maybe that was just a publicity stunt to get more bodybuilders to go to John and fork over their $$ for useless "treatments." Maybe if Dave came back with some sort of miracle cure others would go there for their kidney/liver/heart issues. Seems Dave went silent after coming back, probably because he realized what a crock of shit JoG is.
I'd like to think Dave is in good health. His wife will soon be giving birth to their son, and it would be completely irresponsible of Dave to procreate if he's expecting to keel over in the next 10 years. I hope for his son's sake Dave is as healthy as he can be so the kid doesn't grow up fatherless.

No maybe not mainstream because it all looks too horrible but Kai is an interesting person and the media likes those types of out there nuts. Pretty marketable Plus and I know where i am but I'll say it anyway.

He does. It's the only way someone who looks like that can continue doing what he's doing. If someone else tried what he does, then they would get laughed off the stage or thrown out. I cannot believe that man has so many followers knowing what he's done to citrus in the past and showing up in S&M costumes. It's not just gay men either...Kai turns the people on. I've watched when he's done posing routines and people's eyes are glued to him as he basically does a stripper routine.

I wasn't talking about the people who show up to the shows. I was talking about as far as "mainstream" appeal outside of the cult of bodybuilding. I could definitely see him getting tv work or stage work for music artists.
Why do you think he does those routines? It's not art. I give it to him. At least be actually puts forth an effort into his routines

Very true. Dorian is lighter (never looked big in clothes anyway when ripped) and looks great. Exceptions to the rule are Gary Strydom and Marcus Ruhl who doesn't count as he will live to 1000.

Yes, jay seemed cool with Phil beating him on stage but then beating his mr.O record??...... Besides Phil's attitude; went from being a "Jay's fan to I'm the best Bodybuilder ever" is kinda pushing Jay's popularity aside ...
Phil will win at least 2 more Olympia that alone makes him better than jay it some aspects.

They need Kai in the mix because that show was pretty lackluster. It lacked star power and energy. Boring posing routines and people looking like they were going to sleep onstage
Phil looks like he has 1-2 more go arounds in him. I do not think he will get 7. Someone will catch up. It's kind of sad that he gets 6. I thought Dorian was the beginning of the end but I don't think he and Phil are on the same level.

guy I used to work with black tarred his hair in 'in spots'with that powder,it looked 'ok'you could tell but he blended it in pretty good.he wore it like a mini'pauly'd from jersey shore.i'm guessing he did not wash his hair every day and he would always pat his hair to see if it was dusting off during day....its a lot of time to do that everyday so i'm assuming you have to apply it around days wash hair or not.
