I`ve said it before, and I`ll say it again,Baker was underrated and got fucked by the IFBB constantly.

I remember seeing him on the Flex Workout show with Shawn Ray, and he looked incredible.......thick,and huge, with great proportions.....almost cartoon like.

His torso was a little blocky and unappealing looking at times.

I'm struggling to find other faults outside of the suspicious calves.

He was (and is) awesome. Top 5 BDB of all time IMO.

Aaron signed with McMahon so he seemed permanently penalized.

Indeed.

Imagine the judges reminding each other that the guy on the left absolutely cannot win...

Ok I found the 1995 Ironman footage. Aaron started of with some dramatic music. However, when the music switched over to some James Brown.... things got very gay... very fast.

Baker in Venice back in the day looked incredible. Man what a hot bed of insane physiques that place was. I'm not sure any of us truly realized how lucky we were to be there back then.

Haha. Arnie at the end saying Aaron let his stomach relax too much. If he only knew what was to come....

Great song btw. Gap band.

Back in the day he was one of the guys I used to see competing and asking myself WHY on fucking earth he wasn't winning shows. Well, him and François. The later won more shows, but he wasn't really that high up in the MO. Twas always whiny-ass ninja boy Wheeler, Nasser, Dorian, Levrone and Dillett. Sometimes any of these 5 would fuck up their preparation and show up in horrible shape and STILL beat the likes of Baker.

That's when BB went down the drain.

Flex just coming back from his car accident. Aaron had thicker pecs, but Flex had the more aesthetic physique.

Insane to think how far the IFBB has fallen.

Good spot.

Aaron Baker was the Pre-Kai Greene.
Also, Aaron had some serious triceps. And he trained super slow (according to one BTFO vid---he was training with Robby).

Chris Cormier once said that, when he'd see Aaron Baker in off-season @280LBS, Chris would wonder to himself: how the hell isn't Aaron Mr Olympia??

insane muscle bellies but onset of a GH gut in the later years worsened an already blocky torso.

He actually got lighter and more streamlined and was a heel in a black pro wrestling league (now defunct).

That was the 95 South Beach Pro. It was Flex's first contest back after the crash in the Porsche.

Aaron has a good personality.

When some guys trained, the seemed a bit arrogant... Levrone & Flex. Actually, I'm not sure if arrogant is the right word. Just a bit cocky.

Aaron Baker & Mike Christian seemed to have a good time when they trained. Ronnie too.

It was a Mercedes Benz 500 SL. After the crash, it looked like a Porsche.

And another note, Aaron Baker had that high pitched cartoony voice.

Aaron was a pro... unless I'm missing your point.

Those guys rightfully went nowhere, Pelletier just stuck around too long, he had his time.

Baker deserved to place higher at many shows, to be certain.
