We care because the guy had talent ,and he actually brought something to peoples lives. Now keep trolling.

He didn't respect that talent.
Why should we?

Think about this a little bit deeper. The guy made a career out of performing nightly in front of thousands or tens of thousands of people. When people go to see a rock star perform they expect to see not musicianship but great depth of emotion and ecstatic energy. You try summoning that on a nightly basis whilst traveling from city to city without any chemical assistance. Then once you are used to using drugs to get it up for your shows, try enjoying yourself on your off time whilst sober. Impossible. He died for us bitches is basically what I'm saying.
Keep in mind I'm not a STP fan just someone who's trying to take a realistic perspective.

Excuses are the nails that build the house of failure.
Weiland wasn't a pimple on Jack White's ass, and White doesn't do drugs.

The logical response to being unable to summon this great depth of emotion nightly would be to perform less. Instead he started taking whatever was put in front of him.

Very well said.
Jack White does not belong in the same conversation as Weiland, for fuck sakes man.

You care, I don't. I only feel bad for those he left behind.
I'd feel way worse knowing that a single mother who worked 3 jobs to provide for her kids had died of cancer. This clown had the world by the balls and didn't care enough about life to stay alive. He could have afforded any type of treatment necessary, but he was too weak and didn't think any type of rules applied to him.

That's completely understandable. Was just answering the question. The other thing is addiction is a disease whether people choose to accept it or not.

It's only considered a disease when entertainers are affected.

Where's your care cut off then?
You sill care if it was a single mother with only one job?

When he didn't care enough to stop doing drugs and live.

it's a nice pre-show cocktail.
I cannot imagine what he took after the shows.
