Title: Have you ever been treated like you've never lifted before?
Post by: el numero uno on December 19, 2015, 07:58:05 AM
Today I attended a new gym and the girl at reception told me "The instructor is missing today, you think you can train on your own? Do you know what exercises to do?". I was like "Humm, yeeeah, that's ok" :\

Its standard. They will always offer you some sort of training help, in the hopes that you will eventually sign up for a personal training program.

Not in a long time. When I went to try out a Crossfit gym, the young (hot) instructor said, "well, you're obviously in great shape, so I don't need to do much remedial instruction" (fuck YEA!)

I'm not particular big (even for a natty) but most people who meet me recognize that I lift (or at least am in good shape/athletic). It depends I guess on what clothes you are wearing. Baggy clothes can hide muscularity unless you're huge.

Most front counter people at gyms look like shit and don't know what to do themselves so that's probably why.  They probably also think that if you don't look like Ronnie Coleman then you are new to weightlifting.

No.

Real men don't get insulted by girls.

You allowed her insolence because you're a closet phaggot
