Yes it's fucking disgusting, I've seen this many times, one of the worst was house two sisters lived in and one had a young baby, both were on the dole and the house was disgusting, shit stains on toilet, bin in bathroom overflowing with used tampons, half full drinks glasses all ower the shop full of tab dumps floating aboot in it. Place was fucking stinking as well fuck knows what the did all day

I say end most governmetn spending and most laws. Something bad happening is not automatically someons fault, which is just an idea, a bad one, that lawyers use to steal tons of money.. Lawyers are not productive. Individual responsability and free trade and private property for the win. End welfare and public school, and regulations. Allow free production and trade and everyone be way richer and everything be plentiful . Thorium clean atomics and mass producd awesome housing be reality fast under capitalism.

Benefits can be stopped for missing appointments or not trying to find work.

For instance, in the US, "unemployment" has a finite end date. You can't collect it forever.

No real timeframe but after a set amount of time they send them on college courses and make them sign in more often I think and have to comply or else loose there benefits, they all must have ways of working around it as I have friends who have claimed benefits since we left school 16 years ago and haven't heard of them doing this shit.

In the US, as long as you put in 3 applications, you have done what they required. You can apply at a McDonald's and as for $100,000 US a year. Knowing they won't hire you and you can keep collecting.
