And fitness culture in general?
About 50 years have passed since fitness culture first came to resemble what we think of as modern bodybuilding. A lot of us seem to think that 'modern bodybuilding', as popularized by weider and Arnold is on the decline.
So what's next? Do you think kids will still be comparing bench numbers in 50 years?

I think implants will develop to the point they will be indistinguishable from the real thing. There is already research on muscle implants for injured soldiers. Rich Piana will be looked at as a pioneer (in a mentally ill way). Synthol is an implant anyway and was obvious on the olympia stage from the mid 90s on.
There will probably be steroids with higher selectivity. Super anabolic, no androgenic effects. Like tren but with the side effects of anavar.

One thing is for sure - schmoes will still be there lusting for oiled men in thong
