Steph Curry, Carmelo Anthony and some other dude having commercials against gun violence and how to stop it. Do any of you think it leads to, or this is the beginning in a major shift in the collective unconscious of the States to get rid of guns like Australia did? Have we finally hit the tipping point? I've never seen this before with sports stars talking about this particular issue in an organized fashion like this.

agent 0 always kept a gun in his locker....

delonte west never road without one or two or three.... ::) ::) ::)

Classic stupidity by the nba. This endorsement of one side of one of the great culture wars of our time will not net them one extra viewer and instead will alienate at least half of their fan base.
Victory of progressive thought over common sense. Some proggie will be fired in a year for this.

Deron Williams is a big gun enthusiast.

It is probably like the "no to racism" campaigns in football (soccer) where they have ads, stupid pregame stuff, then when Russian fans shout racist abuse and throw bananas at black players nothing happens cos Russia bribed Fifa for 2018 world cup but Manchester City got fined a fortune for some fans booing the champions league (football competition) anthem.

They're trying to shift the public's conscience about guns. Easing them into giving them up for the greater good. Of course it's bullshit.

I didn't see the commercial but it's safe to say 99% of the American people want to stop gun violence.

80% of all NBA players own a gun.
The commissioner owns at least 2.
They are soft targeting the thugs that watch the game. Their core audience is killing itself off.

Exactly. Wiggs seeing through the bullshit as usual.
