Something homoerotic about it.

If you stop hanging out in the "Banana Hammock Nightclub" you probably won't hear this so much.
It never comes up in normal conversation. Possibly online if someone is referring to a strength feat.
-
Read it on here, but never heard anyone say this in person about anyone. I've heard "animal" used a lot.
-
isn't that term one of sarcasm/squadfather's lasting legacies?

Well it has been in use for a few hundred years, comparing someone to an animal. The context has changed. In Victorian times saying "how beastly" meant how uncivilised. Now it means animalistic in terms of strength etc.
Look how often sick and bad are used by people here. To mean good and good.

It implies they are impressed and a bit afraid

That is what I thought. With a slight bit of admiration and a great deal of worship involved.

Beast in the UK means Pedo.

I call most of my workmates a sexy beast of a man but it's really a sarcastic reference to how much more better looking I am than them

In the Army ..getting a good "Beasting" means hard training

Ha yeh it does.... Don't want to know how "beast mode" would translate...

Yes, the beast being something other than human, definitely some admiration in there, the way you admire how a horse runs or a lion roars.

A golem is also a form of beast, so if someone uses that word in front of you they are likely poking fun of your extra-chromosome-esque looks.
Care to post a decade old picture for us?

In Jewish folklore, a golem is an animated anthropomorphic being, magically created entirely from inanimate matter.
-
Oh, look... Betty Crocker posts another thread about imaginary homoeroticism on the bodybuilding forum he spends his life on. ::)
-
should be called why do grown men call themselves MODS?

Women are anthropomorphic beings made from inanimate ribs in Christian folklore.
Beast means a wild animal. So it suggests savagrey. However like every word the meaning and usage evolves and depends on where you are.

Beast-Mode!

X2, dude looks like he would scare children.
-
Because its part and parcel of today's hip lexicon? Yup. That would be it.
-
the worst are the idiots in seattle that say "beast mode". Yeah they suck and I'm sick of hearing about it.

If you have Bitch tits, you half a tranny.

Maybe they are looking for reciprocity. "No bro, you're a beast, dawg!"
-
Perhaps the OP isn't familiar with "sarcasm?"
-
The OP calls himself 'the True Adonis.' Nothing homoerotic about that. ::)

just because True Adonis loves to muscle worship bbers, doesn't make him gay.

What is also odd is the inflection they give to the word "beast" when describing another man. It rises and then their eyes widen a bit, maybe followed by a short swallow as evidenced by the slight movement of the Adam's apple. Maybe they get a bit of a dry mouth, maybe a bit of saliva runs down their lips. Their face says it all. Game day will provide the release they need as they watch their beloved "beasts" chase around each other in children's games dominated by the darkest criminals the United States has to offer. A confused white man's paradise I suppose.

I agree, sounds gay as fuck. I like to call men 'Champ' or 'Boss' ;D
'Big Fella' is a personal favorite. ;D
-
It's as I said, part and parcel of the current lexicon of men. Consider also the adult males in their 40s through 60s that wear black baggy "shorts" with a coffee stained wife beater, black socks and red tennis shoes, sporting oversized watches and gold pinky rings and refer to one another as "dawg".
Sheeple from a different flock.
Morons.

Your obsession with men who watch sports is far more of a concern here lol. Question. How many times did a football player sleep with your girl? There seems to be a deep seeded issue here haha. I can only imagine the insecurities based off these threads you start about football.
