Police in Georgia have shot a US military veteran and security guard who tried to disarm his son after a kidnapping situation.
Bobby Daniels, 48, came to the help of his son when officers were called to a Douglasville mobile home park. Bias Daniels, 25, was reportedly holding someone at gunpoint.
When Douglas County deputies arrived, they found Bias Daniels armed with a gun. He lowered the weapon upon their orders. His father Bobby was near him and took the gun in order to secure it. That’s when officers shot and killed the security guard and father of five.
Police claim they ordered Daniels to put the gun down and he did not obey. However his widow has issued a statement saying that Bobby Daniels, a US military veteran, was only trying to help and that he “would never ever take a gun and point it at an officer.”
The family said they had witnesses and were going to demand an investigation through their attorney.
Bobby Daniels died at the scene. His son is in custody on charges of aggravated assault, kidnapping and obstruction.

Now you're onto something.
Finally, a good thought comes from you.
Donny will be proud.

I know this is wrong to say, but accidents happen. That said, in this climate of anti police sentiment, these dudes should be fired at the least if it's found they did something against protocol.

Donna?

Let's face it: In that situation, one of them was going to get shot.

The uniformed cowards were not wanted or needed in this situation. The family crisis would have been handled from within.
I hope the son gets revenge by executing his father's murderer(s) sooner than later......
Happy Holidays :)

It will be interesting to see how this case plays out.

Police claim they ordered Daniels to put the gun down and he did not obey. ...
why wouldnt he just put it down?
its also interesting to read that his wife said that he wouldnt point it at them...yet the report doesnt mention that he pointed it at them..
FTR, just being a former service person doesnt automatically qualify you as a hero or upstanding citizen. many veterans are complete fucktards. In fact its arguably more noble and brave to be a cop.

If the description is accurate, this was probably a bad decision on the Father's part: cops see someone aggressively move towards a gun (and any attempt to disarm would, by definition, have to be aggressive) and they will perceive it as a threat.
Pretty sad... the Father is dead and the kid's life is ruined, even if there are no charges or a mandatory stay at a psychiatric ward.
Look, it's simple: cops are trained to respond in a Pavlovian fashion: pull the trigger repeatedly until the magazine is empty; repeat until threat it eliminated. Now, maybe we should change the way cops are trained, but that is another topic.

His son sure was bias

His son sure was bias
The son has mental problems....that would explain his actions.
The fucktard pigs who responded are just not good at their worthless jobs. Like most pigs, they are a cancer to society.....

maybe "dad" should have been minding his own damned business..

How do you know what race the murderer is? The article only shows the murder victim.
And what does race have to do with it? Why don't you go up to the next black guy you see and repeat to his face what you posted....then post the pics here of your teeth lying on the floor and your pants full of shit.

You just can't understand or comprehend my reply. Please have someone smarter than yourself explain it to you. You shouldn't have much trouble finding such a person, as you are obviously a dolt. You're either a racist or a badge butt buddy.....probably both.

Agreed. Father should have stayed the fuck away and let the cops deal with it. His son was 25 not 15...

We don't have a police problem in the US....We have a Black crime problem...Most Black neighborhoods are cesspools.I've seen them move into nice area's and turn them into shitholes in a short time. Blacks have a murder rate 7-8 times that of non Hispanic Whites. Cops SHOULD be leery of Blacks...Our lame stream media try's to portray Blacks as victims when actually they are predators. Blacks need to stop blaming Whitey for their disfunction and look within.....Black culture is a disease.
-
We don't have a police problem in the US.
We don't ? Perhaps you should do a Google search on the subject. You mean to say that EVERY video of police brutality is a sham? You fool.......
So black culture is a disease to you? Lol.. What about the black cops? There's enough video proof out there showing cops of ALL colors abusing people.
By the way, being a cop is more like a culture than being a race or religion. Blacks disagree with one another all the time. It's rare to find a cop who will defy another one of their ilk.
Fuc$ing racist.....
