Title: MUNZER: He had great wheels
Post by: Nether Animal on December 26, 2015, 05:11:07 PM
All this talk about his conditioning (rightfully so) but let's not forget that MUNZER brought a lot more to the table. VERY impressive FLS, and his quad shape was exceptional.

Looking at his pics now, he was a much bigger man than I remember him being. In comparisons he was usually one of the largest on stage, certainly amonhst the white guys. It was his condition that always made the first impression for me but he had the mass to go with it.

you beat me to it....I don't remember him being so big as well..but then again he was competing against probably the best group of bodybuilders at any one time in BB history........He is definitely the best cut bodybuilder of all time in my opinion...they said his stack was legendary...that's why his liver melted

It was bleeding in stomach from aspirin.

The huge stack he supposedly took was a cover for his drug dealing - ie if caught in an airport he could say I am taking this much shit so it is for personal use including the valium etc.

What was his listed height and competing bodyweight?

From his wiki:

Quote
After months of stomach pain, Münzer was admitted to hospital on the morning of March 12, 1996. By 7pm, doctors had decided to operate to stop bleeding from his stomach, but his liver and kidneys failed shortly afterwards. His condition by this point was too severe for a blood transfusion, and he died on the morning of March 14 at the age of 31.[1][2] The autopsy gave the cause of death as dystrophic multiple organ failure.[3]

Some of the specific autopsy findings were an extremely muscular physique with an almost complete absence of subcutaneous fat, a liver that contained numerous table tennis ball-sized tumors (with half the liver consisting simply of a crumbly mass that was similar to polystyrene), shriveled testes, and cardiac hypertrophy (Münzer's heart weighed 636g; a normal man's heart usually weighs 300–350g).[3]

Münzer's electrolytes were also out of balance, and his potassium levels were extremely high. Traces of about 20 different drugs were found, along with acute toxicity (perhaps caused by a stimulant). Schwarzenegger sent a wreath to Münzer's funeral in Styria, with the message: "A last greeting to a friend."[citation needed]

Reduce that down and you have - large heart from juice, small balls from juice and internal bleeding - aspirin from ECA. He also was ridiculously lean all year so probably took diuretics non stop for guest posings. Pure conjecture but I am using logic at least.

I think the huge amounts of drugs fucked him ip. But the diuretics really take a toll on guys

Munzer struck me as the type of guy that would miss the birth of his child so he wouldn't miss calf workout five of the week.

He also had the "prettiest" quads I've ever seen.

An underrated physique for sure. Combination of mass and conditioning with the aesthetics of a 70's BB.

And just look at the progress in the sport over the past couple decades - Munzer (PIP) blew our minds when we first saw the truly shredded package he brought to the game with the help of a top secret & superhuman hormone profile.  But now, Mike O'Hair has shown the whole world via IG that he can achieve the same results naturally, albeit it with a few genetically modified duck eggs... who can believe it?!?

(And yes, I have been told I am an official O'Hair Jock Grabber :-*)

I "heard" that Munzer used quite a bit of Cytadren which may have been one of the reasons he bled to death

What I find truly amazing is you look at all the shredded bodybuild from the late 80's and 90's, none realy had those crisp shredded glutes

The water balloons of today barely have a single striation anywhere apart from glutes, fucking perplexing

I hope for a full recovery for him but his body is so racked up he can barely walk. Hard to see someone who did 800lbs deadlifts during a bodybuilding training session so messed up.

I'll have to disagree with you on this one, brother.

Coleman is a disgusting fake pile of uncoiled crap that deserves what is happening to him.  I can hardly wait to read the Yip! Yip! Yeah, BAAAABEEE! obit of this asspuppet.   Fuck him all the way to Hell.  He's a lying sack of scrotum and deserves to piss and shit on himself until the angel of death comes calling for his sorry fucktard butt.

Yup.  I really despise that fucking idiot, Coleman.

Yeah, it's Flex. I think it's an optical illusion because of the place from where the picture was taken.
