Title: So you want to be low single digit bodyfat?
Post by: The True Adonis on December 27, 2015, 12:18:41 PM
Calories.  Eat whatever you want.

How many do you need?

Your weight times 15 is maintenance.  The lowest caloric level which you probably don't need to go down to is your weight times 10, so somewhere between your bodyweight times 15 to 10.  Also adjust as you go down in weight.  Adjust every 5 lbs or so.

Lift some weights a few days a week.

Do this for however long it takes and you will be single digits.

Hope this helps.

10 is about the lowest you want to go.

Use goal weight.  You could also use goal weight + about 5-10 lbs, but to make it easier just stick with goal weight if you don't feel like making adjustments.

I knew you were poor, but I didn't know you were THAT poor.  If that is all you have to eat, then so be it.  Give it a try.

10x current body weight or goal weight?

To drop weight BW x 10 or at the very least x 9

To gain BW x 20-22

Foods matter. A calorie is not a calorie.

The "if it fits your macros" is for lazy people.

The correct translation: I might be attracted to you if you were reasonably sophisticated, my height or shorter and fit, with a normal sized penis. I prefer being intimate with people in person. This requires getting to know each other beyond the scope of the Internet. We would have to be mutually attracted. Dark curly hair is a bonus. You seem like a nice guy, but you just aren't my type, sorry.

Calfzilla, If you hear of someone who meets the above criteria and has no hang-ups about sex (swings both ways) let me know. They must be an adult, otherwise age is of no importance to me.

Say a persons ideal weight is 190. So 10x that is 1900 calories. What would be the result of dropping down to 1000 calorie diet? Faster fat loss, muscle loss, metabolism "shutting down"?  ???

In theory maybe, maybe yes.
This information is useless because in real life, if you don't want to feel hunger all the time, you will need to eat low caloric/high fiber foods, to feel the stomach full all the time. Also in terms of muscle wasting and energy levels, one must pay attention to protein intake.

Not to be rude, but your theory would be more believable if your body fat percentage was lower. As it stands, it seems as if you are trying to justify your size. So your healthy now. Is this unusual for a person of your relatively young age?

Admittedly, I'm somewhat sensitive to this issue. My wife fought weight problems all her life. I won't go into detail here, but this played a significant part in the health issues which eventually caused her death.

Still single digit.  the .5 is a decimal and considered a separator.  There is still only one digit in the number 7.5

A single digit is simply a percentage smaller than ten, in other words, any number smaller than 10.

The title of  your thread says "low single digits" so the only single digits their are as it pertains to body fat levels would be 1 to 9%. Of course we know that 1 is not possible, but low would be IMO as far as shredded around 4 to 4.5. That level is a whole  different look then 7 or even 6%. It's NOT easy to get to that level. If it was I would assume that you would have been there on more than one occasion.

You talk about how effortless it is to get ripped but you have never been ripped. You post shadowed pics of you pumped up and vascular to deceive maybe? Guys like me can see past the lighting tricks and such. So I simple asked if it is so easy why haven't you done it that's all.

I honestly just do not take pics of myself, like ever.  Its strange in this day and age with cameras, phones etc...

I think the last picture I took of myself was April 2014 which I posted here.  I really just don't feel the need to share "my progress", even with myself via pics saved on my computer.  I really just don't care at all.  If someone wants to take my advice, all the better for them.  If they don't.  Its no loss on my part, more so on theirs.  In the end.  I. Don't. Care.

Here is an idea.. for 2016 start a thread, post all work out and food in take with the goal being getting DaddyWaddy/Jetro/Marty under 10 % BF. He is probably around 30% so you have your work cut out for you.

A good friend of mine got his body fat tested using calipers. In a tank top and shorts he looks ripped, striations in his shoulders and legs etc. When he takes his shirt off it's apparent that he holds most of his fat in his lower back, stomach and some upper back. I also tested the same day. I look like a fat tard compared to him but we both tested almost the same. I hold my fat evenly more evenly so the numbers tallied up near the same. Lots of guys will post photos of their most lean body parts and make claims at how lean they are.

Unless you are one of the genetic few that stays extremely lean naturally, staying in the mid-lower single digits, especially trying to do it au natural will make you an unhappy camper and won't be very healthy.   That of course means legit single digits.  Not what you think you are.  90% of people are way underestimating their real % of BF.
