Why is it some bullshit? Why would a company want a known racist working for them, thus potentially driving away customers?
Most companies that fire people for racism do not do so because they are actually offended by racism; they do it for public relations reason. It makes sense from a business perspective.

You're right, companies are going to give into the PC culture, not because they actually care about race relations and community ties between different races, but because they care about money. The more customers that companies can exploit, the more money they make. It's pretty simple. No smart business person is going to take a chance of driving away any customer(s).
