Im sure felons everywhere will not have access to firearms since they would not pass a background check ::) does anyone remember the fast and furious scandal where obama put firearms directly into the hands of drug cartels? But hey lets make society safer by increasing the number of hoops responsible citizens will have to jump through

It took years to act because the Republican controlled congress shot down even the most sensible gun control legislation.
