Title: New job

In addition to my gym. In less than two months I managed to turn around our schools football team strength program. During this time they would maybe have 20-25% participation. Since Nov.30 we now over 70% participation into the program with most getting stronger by the week. This is a program that hasn't won a league game in 13 seasons. This was the first time they have ever had a structured program down to the minute. With this being said the coaches have managed to incorporate my program for track. Good job, seriously. How are they handling the 5am starts? Any promising athletes?

My first job was as a tennis coach, in a parks tennis programme to reach kids who couldn't afford to join a club, and I remember one kid was exceptional from the first moment he picked up a racket. He since went into a programme for talented kids, was very satisfying.

My first job was as a tennis coach, in a parks tennis programme to reach kids who couldn't afford to join a club, and I remember one kid was exceptional from the first moment he picked up a racket. He since went into a programme for talented kids, was very satisfying.

Our morning starts are 5:30 (mainly football and throwing athletes, shot put/discus) and most are handling it well. Surprisingly I have got little push back from the parents. In the afternoons I have a 3 hour slot. The first hour are the track athletes the second hour is speed and agility then the third is weight room for football. We split the Lineman/linebackers every other morning, same with skill.

There's a lot of talent on the team. We have one DE that's 6'4 328lbs that's second in the state in shot put. I'm having the big LB's drop weight so I get them more athletic. The big DE has a 1.72 10 yard split. For a kid that big that's explosive.

Lot's of social media and one parent meeting in particular and lots of emails. Most of the football kids follow me on twitter and instagram. I post something training or motivating everyday so when I went in they already knew of me and I train or have trained many.

Coach = Winning

It always cracks me up when people call him stupid and that he didn't finish college or has a bunch of fitness certifications.

If I had to trade careers with anybody on this board it would be with Coach. Industry serving real athletes both pro and amateur as well as instilling discipline and values of high school age kids when they most need it.

In fact, forget if "I had to" trade careers. I WISH I could be doing what he's doing.

bro....that period of time in my life as well as in the time lime of "bodybuilding forum websites" is such a, I don't know,...it's akin to that time when John Holmes had to do gay porn around the end of his life

I say that in the sense that that period was "a thing" but in the overall timeline it's a "blip" compared to the rest of the stuff that has happened on forums like this and MD and the rest

I think a even better analogy could be how in pro wrestling during the late 90's WCW got huge fast and over took the pro wrestling scene but eventually it burned itself out

and I'll be very candid in saying that my time and interactions with GH15 forum turned me off to this culture

however, even though GH15 site is down or whatever it has had a "splinter affect" on the cult when you see 3g's a week under the age of 25 clones in every gym now

EDIT: just reread your post...so strango was GH15?

Started out with me donating my services to the football program then when they started piling on other teams because some of the other players were in other sports and made the weight room mandatory. The response was great and other coaches from the other programs wanted their athletes in as well. This took the gym responsibility off of them so they can just concentrate on the skill part. That's when I was offered a paid payed position through the school.

Ah here, I support Coach fully here, but I have every right to call him a stupid cu nt when I see him say something I disagree with  ;D

I agree that education level is not correlated to intelligence; also that there is too much focus on certain academic subjects and certification (ie you can't find a plumber but there are 1000s of arts students roaming the streets).
