i was just thinking the same thing, i would bet there are investors behind it. in the uk i'm sure he has only ever owned a very small gym, it doesn't add up that off the back of that he would then go abroad and invest what is obviously a vast amount of money on a set up like that.

You wouldn't believe the amount of fan base Dorian has in Spain, bodybuilding or hitting the "Gimnasio" is big with Spaniards alongside Football (Real Football, not that toss thingie the yanks wanna call "football"). I wouldn't be surprised there are a few investors interested in the project, which benefits everybody involved.
Nonetheless, I'm curious at how much a membership will run to in Euros...

It also gives him a base to sell all his nutritional supplements at Retail Price which would help a lot.

He sells DY Gyms as a franchise. It could well be one of those.

Dorian is not all that flush, the money is all a local Moroccan. It'll probably end up being a wash rather than running an actual operating profit.
Locals in that part of Spain live on average on €900/month thanks to the evils of socialism and their own ineptitude.

small for dorian of course, but can't expect the guy to be hitting the sauce hard when he's been retired for more than 2 decades. still much more muscular than average

I trained at Temple Gym in Birmingham for over 12 years so it'll be interesting to see how this compares. Obviously brand new equipment and a different atmosphere but even so, it looks like a really good gym and I'm planning on taking a holiday out to Marbella later on in the year for a bit of sunshine and also to train at the gym for a week. Only two hours flight away from the UK as well so flights and accommodation will be dirt cheap.

Marbella is big on drugs too, it's full of towie wannabes drinking cocktails and racking up lines of coke, he should do well.
