You know, there are just some videos that were made to help people. This isn't just about people who are morbidly obese, it's for everyone stuck in a rut, or that has hit a perceived plateau in life. YOU CAN DO IT!
Dare to dream, but expect to succeed. For everyone struggling to see results, maybe you aren't digging deep enough. How bad do you want it?
-
Just do it!

Here's the thing
Despite all the rhetoric, I don't believe he is yet at the point where the switch has flipped and he can emulate that guy.
I think most of us who are lifters / dieters know the switch pretty well and it means very little to us to switch it on and cut the bullshit out of diet and work out harder, but most fat people have never turned that switch on once and actually said "my desire to no longer be fat is larger than my desire to not experience discomfort as a result of effort".
I still don't see it with him, much as I would love to see it. That being said, it must be really hard to do something like that when you're so physically fucked up that your body no longer will permit you to move enough to get your heart rate going.

The video is meant to inspire regardless. All of us have goals, whether it is 15 pounds of muscle to gain, or 200 pounds of fat to lose.
Videos like this prove that amazing things can happen with willpower, desire, and consistency. Most of us are normal sized. This guy lost 100's of pounds in less then a year and a half. Makes all of our physique/life aspirations seem well within reach.

Boogie seems like a nice guy and I enjoy watching his videos but at this point I don't believe anything is going to motivate him. He's too comfortable with his life and just doesn't have the fire inside him to change. I fear he may not last much longer.

Why is he still fat?

Why is he still fat?
I would start with the Star Wars stuff littered throughout the room... Pizza the Hut must loom large in this man's world.
No willpower, no way.
-
He even got help from the legendary wrestler DeSoto Moissanite Book and still can't keep the pounds off him?
Must have some chemical disorder.

I actually felt bad for DDP because he's has worked miracles on so many and I knew ol Francis would fail and make him look bad.

I don't believe shizzles has the willpower to slim out

Fuck that fat dip shit. Acting like a child over video game consoles. What a loser.

Not trying to be Insensitive, but how the fuck do you let yourself get that fat?
There is a difference from, "Life happens and I gain a few pounds" from " holy shit!!! I'm eating 20 large pizzas a day and seating in my gaming chair all the fucking time".

Agreed, but I did not make this thread about Boogie, and which was the main reason he got so emotional. The fella in the video proved you can lose any amount of weight if you are dedicated enough. I am not familiar with his backstory, so. I am assuming he didnt get surgery to help aid him. He lost hundreds of pounds in 15 months.
Boogie was crying for a few reasons: This guy proved that it can be done, and Boogie realised that he had no more excuses.

Disorder, yes. Like all those chubby Dachau survivors, who just couldn't get the ol' metabolism going.
-
Lap band you fat fucks. If you are over, I think,40% body fat, insurance will cover it.
-
The Francis-character is an act.
Yeah, all his toys and video games.and consoles are just an act.
Its fucking gay. Really gay.
Guy needs to grow up. Till then fuck him and his addiction and the morons that watch his videos.
-
shizz, why are you doing insanity? ???
-
I've always liked Boogie.
He had it really rough growing up and found an emotional attachment to food. Apparently his mom used to beat the living shit out of him and tried to claw his left eye out, which, to avoid, made him jump out of a moving car. His dad was in a coma for a long time until he died of cancer. His mom died a few years later.
That shit will put anyone into a deep depression. The guy thought of offing himself a few years ago, but then discovered youtube and that kinda put his life back in order. He does have some medical issues, he's got nerve damage in his back and leg which makes it very hard for him to walk or swim. He's been on serious pain meds, too.
I give him props. He does what he loves, he found an audience that's willing to listen, and he's happily married. I hope he loses the weight, of course, and finally lives the life he deserves. But, honestly, he's probably going to die of obesity, and that's a damn shame...
Here's a good video he made called "Draw My Life"

Why not? It's a great program for those who want to lose weight, but also want to have the cardio and stamina of an athlete.
Have you ever seen the workouts that are part of the Insanity program? It's very tough to follow 100% (especially the first few weeks) and will absolutely help you keep/gain muscle, burn tons of fat, and also get you into good athletic shape. I have no desire to look muscle-bound, only to get winded when walking to the mailbox. I play flag football regularly, and I feel that this program can serve all of my needs. I aim to have a toned, athletic body, that also has functional strength and agility.

Thank you for the backstory. Perfect example of a great contribution to a thread.

flag football is great, except last time I played with my buddies I felt like I was hit by a truck the next day

Again, the inspiration of the film was not Boogie (the guy who made the video) but of the man that made the huge transformation.
It was inspiring. "Weight" can be used as a relative term in this situation. It's about people who can overcome seemingly insurmountable odds.
That can translate into anything you want it to mean.

I didn't watch the video but I take it that its about another big fatass who shed lots of weight.
When I see a big fat fuck loose weight I don't think its inspirational or he done good, I just think the fat stinking cun t shouldn't have been obese in the first place

Watch the video then, dick.
It will all makes sense.
It's all about perseverance. You can apply that to all aspects of your life.

Sad movie, good thing everything worked out in the end for him.
Hopefully he will get to work on his Mike O'Hearn physique next!

Life is not simply Y follows X in a linear fashion. Life doesn't play out like that. We can't say, "well, Joe should have done this, in order to get this outcome." I think that is obvious to most of us.
Sure, in a perfect world, we would all make the right decisions, ALL the time. But life is not like that for 99.9% of people. People mess up and need to get back on track. Its the way it is. I am not saying you have to fawn over this guy or look up to him for losing weight. It makes no difference if you are proud of him for losing weight. However, I urge you to modify your erroneous assumption of, "I just think the fat stinking cunt shouldn't have been obese in the first place." While this may be true from a totally fact-based perspective, it does little in understanding the nuances of life, and how we are all affected by differently circumstances--we all respond differently, for A LOT of different reasons.

No, if I ever get to the point of needing "motivation" to train, I won't be getting it from a video of a fat 700lb xbox nerd crying.
Fuck you
-
In the comments:
It's amazing and beautiful how a beautiful skinny person like her can love him I thinks it's awesome not give any offense or anything of that nature I had no other words to describe it.
You should make more videos with your wife in it!
Its his sister not wife, lol!

What part did "any aspect of your life" did you not understand? It's not just about training or weight loss, it's about taking control of your life.
There is nobody on earth who can't improve on something.

When a person is this heavy, the first 50-70 pounds come off pretty quick if he is dedicated..........then the real work begins and most don`t make it.

This is a good post, sums him up well. I also liked the draw my life video, very good.
Now, to add further, I do like Boogie and hope he makes it but I have low expectations for him. Yes he has the mental issues but at the end of the day that is another excuse. Bottom line is he is 550 lbs and struggles to lose 50 lbs just to gain it right back.
Like I said earlier he is too comfortable with his life. Doing what he loves, good wife, tons of video games and other nerd shit he's into. He just doesn't have the fire in him to drop the weight at this point. I hope that changes soon but if it doesn't he won't be around much longer.

Men have control of their life, men is hard wired to achieve goals and chase success in his chosen endeavour, weak estrogen fuelled bitches allow themselves to balloon up to 700lbs whilst crying and playing xbox all day long. You fall into the later category

Nah. That's just a bowel movement. That'll be back after a triple family meal at KFC, guaranteed!
