I have an idea of what I'm going to do, but interested to get some insight from some of you.
I was performing my 3rd favorite activity- checking Instagram- and hit the location tag on one pic from a girl at my gym. I've never checked that tag before. I go through a bunch of pictures, obviously mostly selfies and the like, but I also come across 36w old and 28w old pics of me from the rear. It's on an account dedicated to male butts of NYC with a bunch of stealth pics posted. A few other guys from my gym have been posted, but most of the pics are just taken around the city. My gym is not very gay, so I'm 99% sure of who the guy running the page must be.
Part of me is annoyed by this- like I don't want to be on some asshole's instagram page just because we go to the same gym. Another part of me is just like it's not a big deal. The page only has about 1100 followers and the pics of me are obscured and from months ago.
What would you do in a similar situation? Confront the guy? Report him to the staff? Ignore it?
*They're not nude pics. One is of me standing in front of a weight rack checking my phone. The other is of me walking up a flight of stairs.

Can we see the pic of your buttocks for confirmation?

Zactly, as long as flamers aren't sneaking in the locker room and photographing your piss pump, what's the big deal?
-
Take a pic of him, post it to your instagram and caption it along the line of this pervert loves snapping pics of unsuspecting men and posting them online.
Use creative hash tags:
#creepymen #pedophilebehavior #socialrape
Link him

First it starts like this, then all of a sudden are photos of you taking a big black cock up the ass. Tread lightly my friend.

It's funny... my boy actually made a creeper post about the guy who I think it most likely is about a year ago. The buttphoto guy was sitting on a bench next to the one my friend was using and just staring at him. My homie was filming his set and got it on camera and captioned it about how he hated dealing with pervs and creeps at the gym and he only went to workout, etc. At the time I thought it was such a dramatic post, but now that I know this guy goes around the city photographing guys' butts, I'm kinda looking at it differently.
-
Don't think I would care. If anything, I'd see it as a compliment. Surely it means you have nice glutes and those squatting sessions are paying off?

Obviously there's a lot of weird people in the world, but in the gym the number of weirdos increase.
You have to put people like this on blast then act like you don't know them.
If a dude was doing the same thing to women he'd have restraining orders filed against him. It's unacceptable behavior
-
Maybe. Definitely more than enough weirdos in the gym, but I've been trying to work out what it is that bothers me about this.Like I said, part of me is just like not a big deal. I don't feel "SEXUALLY VIOLATED" or anything, but all of the little factors combined kind of irritate me.
-
I hate to break it to you, but your butt is public domain as long as it's out in the wild.
You're just going to have to deal with it.
-
At least it's a positive fan-site. I'd just be glad I hadn't ended up on one of those 'People of Walmart' type websites where people LLS
...again...

Well, in certain cases yes, in others not so much. Years ago- maybe 10 years ago?- there was this gay blog called "Joe My God" that posted a pic of me sitting on the subway. A few acquaintances emailed me about the pic, but I don't remember being that bothered by it. I might have been a little irritated, but the new media revolution was starting and I realized there was nothing I could do. Besides it was just a pic of me sitting on the train. However, I think most gyms would take some sort of disciplinary action if they discovered that a member was posting sexually suggestive pics of other members without their knowledge or permission. Possibly banning, but at the very least, a warning.
-
Just imagine how we'd go to town if some stupid bitch at the gym started a thread whining about a pic of her butt on Instagram without her permission. She'd be labeled a whiny kunt liberal feminazi bitch. But when it's a dude...

The reason is we all can relate because most of us go to gyms and can imagine this happening. When you're doing curls and the guy behind you is on his phone. Do you think he's texting? maybe he's taking photos of your ass. It's very possible this has happened to a lot us without knowing.

Perhaps if you can prove who it is.
I don't think the "belief" is enough.
-
True, but I feel that's a separate issue from whether or not my butt is public domain at the gym.
-
I'll jerk off while watching the pic.
It's not gay if it's your own pic.
-

My point you fucking moron was that chicks deal with this every day in and out of the gym and only the most pathetic of the pathetic start a whine train about it. Grow a fucking pair of nads you fucking phaggot.

Ask that guy from getbig which has pics of him in bunny suit and naked ass. ;D

Don't confuse advertising with invasion of privacy.

Good father/son activity going to the gym. However, don't think it's good that you allowed your boy to be exploited that way.
-

Sounds like a legal scenario.
My first impression is that it's perfectly legal.

I don't think it's a legal scenario. Businesses warn/ban customers all the time for behavior that isn't illegal but violates their respective policies. Traditional cell phone use is technically not allowed in my gym. Like an earlier poster said, if this guy was openly videotaping or photographing female members- or even just staring to the point of making some uncomfortable- gym staff would likely step in.

LOL I wasn't talking about my son. "My boy" and "homie" are just examples of urban slang. I was actually talking about my sister.
-
Meanwhile we all get off on random pics of women taken, lol...

Possibly. But if they are taking them and no one is noticing, does that equate to the same scenario.
I don't know.

All the time.

You black or something?

I have these two friends. One is straight and the other is gay. They meet before but are not friends. My gay friend sent me tumblr links and ask if "this is you friend?". I clicked and yup nude pics, I learned later, that he sent to some bitch somehow ending up on a gay site. :-X first ., I'm like wtf did you sent me nude pics. And second, here is my firends number I'm not sending my straight friend nude pics of himself. :-X

I don't know.
There are all kinds of different scenarios ??? I get what you're saying that legally there's not really a violation. I just think gyms have leeway to be stricter (or more arbitrary, depending on how you look at it.)

I hear ya. I guess if the gym wanted to make some more staunch rules they could. Depends on if it will hurt their business to any noticeable extent.

Not illegal just creepy as fuck.

Not illegal just creepy as fuck.
No argument there.
It's definitely creepy. This is how a lot of women feel about people. Think about the up skirt stuff. Totally a violation. Happens a lot. Extremely creepy.

I would call the internet police. Or maybe send them a text.

with all of the selfies traded back and forth these days... with the prevalence of photoshop... with so much data out there, growing by TB daily...
IMO it's not a big deal if there's nudes of a person out there anymore. Back in the day, it'd ruin a girl's life if her ex had polaroids of her bent over. These days, chicks are shoving curling irons up their bungholes and snapchatting it for laughs. Doesn't matter these days. The fappening was no big deal... imagine the fappening in 1990, would have been the story of the year.
