Now there's a punch in the mouth.
Starnes: Why Liberals Are Foaming At The Mouth Over 'New York Values'
Published January 15, 2016
By Todd Starnes, Fox Nation
Donald Trump and the Mainstream Media are foaming at the mouth over the comment Senator Ted Cruz made about New York values.
Now, all of us folks who are not New York City liberals know exactly what Senator Cruz was talking about -- and it had nothing to do with the aftermath of 9-11.

Senator Cruz was talking about cultural and political values.
Duck Dynasty values versus Bill de Blasio values.
He was referring to the permissive New York values celebrating public debauchery that would make the citizens of Sodom and Gomorrah blush. Just ask the families from the Heartland who’ve been accosted by topless women in Times Square.
Remember Occupy Wall Street -- turning public parks into human cesspools - people defecating on police cars? He was talking about those values, too.
Along with the values that propelled citizens into the streets to justify violence against police officers.
Senator Cruz was talking about the values that banned churches from public spaces and relegated Christians to second class citizens.
He was referring to the values that let a candidate says he's a pro-abortion Democrat one day and a pro-life Republican the next -- the kind of values that would compel someone to use a national tragedy like 9-11 to score cheap political points.
You see - in that land New Yorkers like to call fly-over country - character counts. A man's word matters.
Those are the values Senator Cruz was talking about.

I'll take New York values over fundie dispshit, Duck Dynasty, Kim Davis "values" any day of the week
A politician who is trying to win a national election is beyond stupid for trying to criticize the "values" of any part of this nation.

Cruz Issues Stinging 'Apology' in Response to 'New York Values' Debate
Jan 15, 2016
Republican presidential contender Ted Cruz issued an "apology" today in response to the outrage many New Yorkers expressed at his "New York values" comments during the Fox Business Network GOP debate.
After Cruz tried to attack Donald Trump and play up the cultural divide with his comments, Trump, Hillary Clinton, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio and others all called for the Texas senator to apologize - but they probably weren't expecting this.
In two separate interviews Friday, the Texas senator offered a backhanded apology, saying, "I apologize to the millions of New Yorkers who've been let down by liberal politicians."
"I apologize for the working men and women of New York who are denied jobs — jobs that have been plentiful just south of Pennsylvania — because Gov. Cuomo bans fracking. I apologize to all the pro-life, pro-marriage, pro-Second Amendment New Yorkers who Gov. Cuomo brazenly told have no place in the state of New York because that’s not who New Yorkers are," Cruz said on "The Sean Hannity Show."
Speaking to a separate group of reporters, Cruz also said, “I apologize to all of the African American children who Mayor de Blasio tried to throw out of their charter schools that were providing a life line to the American dream."
"And I apologize to all the cops and firefighters and 9/11 heroes who had no choice but to stand and turn their backs on Mayor de Blasio because Mayor de Blasio over and over again stands with the looters and criminals rather than the brave men and women [in] blue.”

So now he's talking about a "life line to the American Dream" for Blacks? Does he claim to be concerned about that, now?

Cruz is just another politician. Up to no good. Can't be trusted. Lies like a champ and acts like a chump to all the wrong people.
No to Cruz.

here's a way to look at it.
NYers are americans. They elect candidates who are libs. these candidates write liberal laws. it's what the people of that state want.
Isn't the CONSERVATIVE thing to say "live and let live" and let a state do what the fck it wants? 'Don't tread on me'? Sounds like people in Cali and TX and Florida are treading all over NYers who (by majority) want to be fcking liberals.
Don't impose your beliefs on them - unless you want them to impose their beliefs on you. The minute its' okay for YOU to sit in Cali and decide how NYers should live, what laws they should follow - you grant them the same power to do it to YOU.
Do yall knock on your neighbors' doors and tell them what to eat for dinner too?

I'm sure this will come as a shock to the Cuban/Canadian dipshit but people in New York can own guns and they are also free to choose to NOT get gay married and to NOT get an abortion, etc...
So what the fuck is he talking about other than trying to be intentionally divisive (which is fucking stupid if you're running for the job of leading the entire country)
btw -if you want a fracking job then move to where there are fracking jobs, just like if you want be a lumber jack or a coal miner or life guard at the beach then you move to where those jobs are located.

Crazy thing is, he doesn't seem like a bad guy (to me) in interviews, etc., but then he'll pull shit like that, and it's like wtf?! Who does he think he's fooling?
