I have two barbells, dumbbells, and plenty of weights. What exercises can I do to strengthen my lower back? It's the weakest part of my physique, probably cuz I threw it out a couple years ago carrying ready-to-assemble furniture at work. I have a back belt and I'm crazy about proper form so I don't think I have to worry about getting injured again. Thanks.

I dont know how high reps on deadlifts could be a good idea, mainly because of form degradation, which only gets worse as you do more reps. IMO, reps should be low, even if the weight is moderate. Also can try regripping every rep after standing back up each rep.

If he's prepared to put stress on the back, there's no point in taking it easy with moderate reps. I'd do just light back exercises but if he wants to push it then high reps using light-moderate weight is the best way, other than doing hyperextensions.

that doesnt answer anything..

Right, I forgot that I had posted that. It was on a list of things I wanted to do and I couldn't remember if I posted the question or not. Thanks anyway. My bad.
