That's a given. Anyone who knows anything about bodybuilding wouldn't put Chic ahead of Taylor. Look at Vince's history of pro contest wins... it's almost impossible to believe. Look at Chic's history of pro wins..that's um.. well... it really hasn't happened yet. He did get second once to Markus Ruhl at a Night of the Champions back a few years ago but damn, beat Vince.. never.
-
Yep, Shawn was right, Vince would never be ready for the Colorado pro. ::)
-
Unreal :o
-
It's amazing that Vince is about 10 years older than Bob and still likely beat him. That having been said, if Bob shows up in the conditioning he was in at the 2005 NY Pro, he should do pretty well.

Haha obviously.... Bob has no chance against Taylor
-
I heard a rumor that Vince has an extra bicep sewn into his arm from a cadaver.
-
LOL...thats like saying ARMZ can beat ME..LOL!
-
LOL...thats like saying ARMZ can beat ME..LOL!
or that bodybuilding is not a sport.
-
vince is a beast!!
-
Vince is gonna smoke bob like a cheap cigar.. unreal genetics.
-
You guys have to remember, Vince made some pretty disparaging remarks regarding the IFBB and it's officials a few years back after his loss at the Master's O (blatant thievery). Hell, I think he even made a video about it. Come the end of the day, it's quite possible that could play a role in the decison, unforunately.
Yep, I got the vid, and I'm sure Vince knows this. Bottom line....they more they screw over competitors the more some will move on to bigger and better things. ;)

That is a great shot of his arm, and his condition seems to be on target. However, IMO Vince has weak legs, a flat chest & mediocre back. We'll see how he looks in posing trunks...
-
I thought Vince had a great chest. I remember awhile ago in Flex Mag. They put together a Virtual Perfect
Bodybuilder with The best bodyparts of individual bodybuilders. The chest they used was Vince taylor.
I wouldnt say his legs were weak. His calves are among the best on a black bodybuilder.
-
Notice how flat his pecs look...
This is how they are supposed look...
-
You are correct !!!! Still a great physique !!!
-
Vince will win, he's got no competition there.
-
Vince is a freak of nature. I cant beleive how awesome he still looks..
-
Vince was one of the best bodybuilders and was the MASTER poser long before Darrem or Melvin.
-
His legs are fine, I don't remember about his back and I agree with the chest thing.
But Lee did win last year with a weak chest and back didn't he ? ;)
-
I guess I'm just hoping he doesn't. Nothing personal, but I just don't think much of his physique...
What type of physique do you prefer ?
mass monster ?
Honestly, I can't find anything wrong about vince's physique exept his chest.
He looked fucking great back in the day and I hope he still does !

-
If he improves his chest and back then there will be no stoping him. He could place top 3 at the Olympia.

It's hard to say, but he is boring to me. Great arms/calves, small waist, entertaining poser, etc. But when he hits his poses I yawn. There is nothing really spectacular happening in most of his shots.
And no, I'm not necessarily a Mass-Monster afficionado. The three greatest physiques IMO are Ronnie (98), Shawn & Flex (before synthol).
Anyway, this is jsut the master Olympia. WTF am I doing here jabbering about this. Time to go home & start the weekend.
Peace!
-
You can bet on on ;)
Those arms make Ronnie's look like pipe cleaners. Holy shit.
-
LOL...thats like saying ARMZ can beat ME..LOL!
hahah Do you even compete? If you lost all that fat, you'd be a lightweight. So we'll never know lol
-
Hopefully he looks like this. Vince in 1992 Olympia
-

his legs only got small due to injury he sustained and that was along while back they may be back on target by now

Hopefully he won't...
he looks small in that pic
-
MindSpin-
Gotta disagree w u on Vince - I think for some intangible reason you just dont like his physique.
Vince T. is definitely one of the best bb of all time.
Look at that 92 pic - he was OFF then + still looks great there!
-
Taylor pulled a colemen in early nineties he competed at 208 to 215 at earlier pro show's,and at 36yrs old starting with 95 pro season's and up was competing at 240 .too bad he had to face yates.
-
Yep, Shawn was right, Vince would never be ready for the Colorado pro. ::)
Quadruplepwnage.

Quadruplepwnage.
Glad someone got it. ;) Just Shawn's feeble attmept to save face.

three greatest physiques of all time?
1) Yates '93
2) Ronnie 99 BGP
3) Flex '93 ASC
-
i hope he doesnt we need a new improved stereotype
-
How old is the guy, pushing 50 ?
-
Vince still looks great and in his best shape (early 1990s) this show would be his. But this is 2006 and let's see how looks on the day of the contest.
As for chic, well he's taken a lot of heat here lately and might not be in shape, but if he shows up looking like this, I wouldn't be so quick to write his chances off.

He doesn't look too bad here.. nevery though i'd say that about Chick. He should ease off on the spray paint though.

Just look at that bicep! Dudes what, 40+?
Look at his face, all sucked in, hes bone dry and ready to kick some ass.
You Go Vince, props to you man.
-
Vince is something like 50 now.
-
Hopefully he won't...
he looks small in that pic
Stavios, that was 1992- that wasnt small by standards in that time...just today...just a fyi.

He'll be 50 in August if you can believe it. How many of today's pros will be competitive at that point in their lives?
-
I hope Vince wins. One of the all time greats and a real gent. To mention Bob C in the same breath is laughable. I'm actually chuckling now as it is hilarious to compare them.
-
Who knows if Bob is going to win or not. However, Bob HAS managed to bring more publicity to this year's Masters then in the past decade. I would say that he is totally fulfilling his obligation as IFBB rep.
I mean honestly, no one even mentioned that Master's before. Now it's an 'every-hour' subject.

I think AD said he follow the sport since the 80's but maybe I'm wrong
-
Vince has always had some of the best arms In the sport., and shit !!! his competitive record is crazy.
only levrone has him beat. And not by much. Another legend. ( I really can't believe that arm pic ) sick at any age.
