New study shows stretching is now supposed to be good for you again. Apparently the "experts" have been claiming stretching was no good for athletes.

I still won't stretch before weightlifting. Way too lazy.

Over 30 years training and I never stretched. I never tore or ripped a muscle either. High rep warm ups sets with light weight is all I ever did. If flat benching, I'd start with 65lbs x 50 reps, 95lbs x 30 reps, 135lbs x 20 reps, then start the work sets.

I just jump rope or crosser to warm up . I do stretch in between sets though. Flexibility I do more on off days.

Shaolin Monks stretch a lot and they are awesome. I say do your stretches and KNEW we were gonna see something like this soon.
That dumb ass from France published something on how it reduces power by 5% stretching pre workout and EVERYONE (mostly) bought into it without thinking for themselves.
