Holy Shit dude.  I thought for sure the Pats were gonna win that one.

Good for Manning.  Fuck Brady and his super hot wife, only she's not that hot and she kinda looks like a man.

Pleasantly surprised as well, expected a Pat blowout based on what pretty much EVERYONE predicted.

Happy for Manning, mostly.

Agreed.

A lot has been made of Brady having the edge over Manning in head to head wins.  However, they have played each other only 5 times in the AFC Championship game and I'm pretty sure Manning has won 3 out of the 5.  To me that means a hell of a lot more than regular season wins because that decides who goes to the Super Bowl.  Brady beat Manning one other time in the playoffs but it was in a earlier round I think.

I'm not 100% sure that I'm remembering all this correctly but I think I am.

You are pretty much right. Brady vs Manning has been unfairly skewed to Brady. They have both underperformed in the playoffs compared to regular season. Brady received most of his championships by defense.

Especially recently Manning has had his number if people are putting it all on the quarterback (even though both guys were getting crushed/hurried this last game). They love giving Brady all of the credit when they win.

Football isn't like basketball where one guy can carry you.  You need 50 guys playing together to win Superbowls and it also takes great coaching and a lot of luck.  Plus the QBs are playing against the other teams defense not each other.

No, it was not me. I dont care about football that much. I didn't care who won. Though, I did think NE was going to win.

Can't blame Brady for that kicker missing his first XP in 523 attempts. If that doesn't happen, it's anyone's game in OT.

Damn, well it looks like Carolina is going to win the Superbowl.

I want Denver to win but I don't think that's gonna happen.  Maybe if Manning was 3 years younger and they still had Julius Thomas.

Brady came up huge on those two 4th down passes to Gronkowski.  Still can't believe Denver let that happen.

But overall, showed he's pedestrian when pressured, and starts to feel the phantom tackle...That hop/hop play was hilarious.

Love that Broncos win....owned the Pats from beginning to end.   For me that game was like Han Solo beating Darth Vader or Batman beating Doomsday.

Always hated when Ware left the Cowboys, but glad he's getting his first big ring shot.   All this Peyton ain't got it stuff....well, he's going back to the big game sooooooooooo.

No doubt...but he started to feel the pressure at times when it wasn't there.  He missed a few passes that were wide open.  Manning too.

Interesting that they all went out at the same time and Denver's kept working. ::)

Oh but only the Pats can cheat.  Gronk held the whole game again but thats ok because he is big.

Maybe five will come next year with a healthy team. :D

How quickly people forget though. Seattle was the #1 Defense and Denver the #1 offense when those two met. And see what happened. Now Denver has the #1 D and Carolina the #1 Offense I believe. Could just be reversed roles this SB. I'd like to see Manning win and ride off into the sunset. But watching the Panthers now, I don't know. These guys are insanely good on both sides of the ball.

Somebody forgot what Denver's record looked like the first half of the season....

To his credit Manning is basically an offensive coach on the field.

He's not going to win with that arm strength - will have to outbrain them and only if the defense holds the score down.

I would say 3-1 chance in favor of a Panthers win as they are just too good, but would like to see the old geezer outfox them.

Denver D was awesome. They may get crushed in the superbowl, they'll need to score a little bit.
Pats couldn't do it, maybe Carolina can. Denver only had 3 yards of offense in the last 10 mins of game, showed how good their pass rush was,a nd how piss poor Pats O-Line is/was.

Pats are around every year, cant win them all, yes there are other great teams out there.
People act surprised when a playoff team beats another one. Who cares, needs to be a winner and loser.

Pats will be back in playoffs next year. At least a few more years with Bill and Brady around anyways..

That Pats need to invest about a billion dollars in their O-line or Brady is gonna be eating through a straw soon.

I figured the Pats would win just because they have a knack for doing so.

But, we were discussing - Pats played like shit in 4 of the last 6 games, and the o-line looked awful.  That's something that doesn't just change in the playoffs.  If you think about it, it's not surprising the league's #1 defense would annhilate them.

Seattle was top 3 in defense and number 1 in defensive points and Carolina crushed them.  I don't believe Seattle found a weakness in the second half, what happened was Carolina knew they had the game locked and started running Vanilla schemes.  Why show any more cards than you have to.  Even Seattle thought they figured something out and gave Arizona info on how to beat Carolina.  That worked out well ::) .

I think they are both relatively safe and work best in synergy together. Obviously test can cause changes in blood viscosity so having regular blood work is important as well as keeping your bp in check.
