... and another who just digs the blues.

Probably owner's temperament at fault. Probably. Still would not have such and dog and a baby in company.

You woudn't trust a pitbull around your baby (if you have or had one)?

I know I wouldn't. I love dogs but pitbulls just can't be trusted. Many are good and will never be a problem and some like this will be good then all of a sudden attack.

Worn out troll job. ::)

I'm 1000% fine with anyone owning as many pitbulls as they want.
BUT
just like with a gun, you are PERSONALLY responsible for any consequences that dog delivers.
the MINUTE a dude goes to prison for life because his unattended dog kills someone = the moment people start investing in proper facilities, training, etc. This bullshit about "hey, it ain't my fault he got out" shouldn't fly.
A few years ago, my toddler son and I were trapped on top of a playground jungle gym because some idiot let his pitt/rott giant dog out for a fun run. It circled us and really wanted to murder us for our innards, I'm sure of that. Barking and jumping. NOBODY came to get the dog. it finally got bored and ran off. Now, I had a fanny pack and God forbid, I was prepared and able to shoot the animal to protect the toddler... but DAMN... that's horrible too! I sure as heck don't want to do that! Especially because some idiot opened the door and let that dog out. (it was playground in condo residential area... had tag, etc) Not his fault he was allowed to roam and try to attack me. But the poor dog would have suffered the consequences.
I had a water bottle and we waited out the dog. My kid is still scared of big dogs because of it. Terrible ordeal. Obviously, any gun nut would have killed the animal at first justification. We just waited until it got bored and left, then we ran to the car. IMO, the OWNER should have been able to be charged with kidnapping/holding against will, just as if he had sat there with a gun threatening us. Because his ACTIONS caused me to be held against my will. Send him to jail for 8 months for it, I bet he doesnt make that mistake again.
Fck that guy, I hope that dog crapped on his queen sized waterbed.

I was bit by a dog once. That Siberian Husky asshole drew blood. It was my brother's dog, and that fuck HATED me more than anything. I was very rarely around the dog. Must have been my GetBigger-esque physique that threatened the dog. :D
funny thing was, I was leaning on the countertop talking with the family when he reached up and bit my hand.
