Very strong kid. However, without the gear and blast shirt(s), I'd give him, maybe, 450-plus.

Protein is the key to his bulk, he says, but he doesn't believe in protein shakes and other supplements.

LOL. I bet he does believe in other "supplements".

You can't tell, but based on others, a realistic raw bench is probably #450 - 500. A bit before he got a hard #670 shirted bench, and a year before that he was only at #570 for a shirted, so this kid probably mastered the shirt(s) really well. Some guys are just great at getting the most out of them once they get some practice in -

As I say, he's a strong kid, but his 700 lift is beyond inflated.

Hopefully he makes the right move and attempts a career in football, not in powerlifting.

When I still bought MD that short bald guy (not Stan) who did powerlifting stuff said he tried a bench shirt at a meet. He failed the lift, and he said; "because nobody told me I had to pull the bar down to my chest to finish the negative portion".

With all that gear on you can't even feel anything.

It's not the real thing.

Don't see the point of geared lifting. Either lift it raw and don't lift it at all.

Hopefully he makes the right move and attempts a career in football, not in powerlifting.

There is no position in Football for him at 5'11. Which really means 5'10 at the most. Only possible position would be linebacker. But he would need to be able to run. But even if he can run, 5'10 linebackers don't have much of a future in football.

Plus, check out the touch-point. The bar's perhaps two inches above his belly button. Such a severe low touch-point is only possible with the blast shirts. To attempt this raw is suicide. Also, it appears he's wearing two shirts. Whether the bottom one is another blast garment, who knows.

Without exaggeration, without the shirt(s), I'd suggest, with a controlled rep brought to his pec line or slightly lower, this guy would falter with much less than 500 pounds.

I have a kid I've been training for almost 6 yrs now, technically he should of been the first shirted 700 high school kid at 17. BUT he crumbles under pressure, when it comes time to perform in front of a crowd his nerves buckled him. This kid was regularly handling upwards of 800 in my gym and was doing 405 for sets of 6 raw at 16 yrs old. Kid holds the WPC and AWPC 275 high school records straight out genetic freak and he is DRUGFREE and yes I can honestly say that even though most of you fuckers will laugh and doubt it. He truly is a one in a million freak!!!!
