"If you keep doing what you've always done, you'll keep getting what you've always got."
(My all time favorite.)

"Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results."

"Learn to love the process, not just the results."

"Loser quite when they're tired. Winners quit when they've won."

“Shortly after I came out of the hospital, I dreamed that I was going to be executed. I suddenly realized that there were a lot of worthwhile things I could do if I was reprieved." Stephen Hawkins

“To live fully is to live with an awareness of the rumble of terror that underlies everything.” Ernest Becker

"You have within you the power to merge everything you have lived through – attempts, false starts, errors, delusions, passions, your loves and your hopes – into your highest goal, with nothing left over." Friedrich Nietzsche

“Out of damp and gloomy days, out of solitude, out of loveless words directed at us, conclusions grow up in us like fungus: one morning they are there, we know not how, and they gaze upon us, morose and gray. Woe to the thinker who is not the gardener but only the soil of the plants that grow in him.” Friedrich Nietzsche

"Always at home. -- One day we reach our goal - and we point with pride to the long journeys we took to reach it. In truth, we did not notice we were travelling. But we got so far because at each point we believed we were at home." Friedrich Nietzsche

How shocking that you would be into Nietzsche.

"Bang My White Pussy"

No shit...and I realize I should be embarrassed to admit this... but when I am working out, I imagine women I find attractive staring at me while I lift, complimenting me on my appearance and bursting into uncontrollable orgasm just by watching me workout. It is a great motivator.

I'm also into Becker. Why not mention this?  ??? ???

Anyway.... :D :D I've read all his original works. My favorite is "Human, All too Human."

It is easier to see a thousand of someone else's faults than one of your own. - Not sure who and I am paraphrasing, but you get the drift.

The thing is... they aren't. A well-crafted saying can be motivational, inspirational, educational and revelatory. To be able to refer to a saying that contains wisdom and truth can be a powerful motivating force.

BMC you might want to develop your mind beyond where it is currently. Thinking about sex & porn all the time will lead you down a road... that leads to nowhere.

I mean, do you plan on getting married? Having a family? Or does porn have you snared?

Marriage, Family, now there are same man made prisons if ever I heard of them.  No wonder the poor saps who bought into such nonsense are wagging there fingers at bachelors whacking of to porn, those poor saps think we want a part of their self imposed incarceration. I laugh heartily before I bust another nut over some barely legal desperate cock starved drug fiend while you dread another dreary day clocking on and clocking off while being henpecked by your wife who rarely if ever puts out and when she does you wish she hadn't.  I almost took you seriously until I read the giveaway line "Thinking about sex & porn all the time will lead you down a road... that leads to nowhere.".  You fail to realise that nowhere is the place to be. I like to visit nowhere as often as I can. Hope this helps.  ;D

Most men don't want to grow old alone...

Most people actually want to have descendants... People want children and grandchildren that can someday inherit their homes & money & possessions

Unless it's a potentially poisonous plant which you intend to eat, the effects of which will lead irreversibly to an excruciating death, and there's no medical attention for 500 miles in any direction.  In this case, make sure the thing you grab because you want it is actually the thing you want and not a thing that closely resembles the thing you want.  Because you don't want that.  True story.

Good quotes, haven't read any of them before.

"Like trees we grow - its hard to understand, like all life! - not in one place, but everywhere; not in one direction, but upwards and outwards and inwards, and downwards equally; our energy drives trunks, branches, and roots all at once; we are no longer free to do anything individual, to be anything individual...This is our lot, as I have said: we grow in height; and even if this should be our dark fate - for we dwell ever closer to the lightning! - well, we do not honour it less on that account; it remains that which we do not want to share, to impart: the dark fate of height, our fate." Friedrich Nietzsche

"Here is an entirely different person: basically everything he wills and plans goes wrong. What occasionally he set his heart on several times brought him to the edge of the abyss and within a hair of destruction; and if he did escape that, it was certainly not just 'with a black eye.' Do you believe he is unhappy about this? He decided long ago not to take his own wishes and plans so seriously. 'If I don't succeed at this,' he says to himself, 'I might succeed at that; and on the whole, I don't know whether I should be more grateful towards my failures than towards any success. Was I made to be stubborn and to have a bull's horns? That which constitutes the value and outcome of life for me lies elsewhere; my pride as well as my misery lie elsewhere. I know more about life because I have so often been on the verge of losing it; and precisely therefore do I get  more out of life than any of you!" Friedrich Nietzsche
