best is not necessarily the BIGGEST difference between waist and shoulders.

like some has correctly realized in this thread, the answer is OLIVA

a lot of people in these pics are just twisting their waist and cheating. oliva har the perfect ratio straight from the front with no tricks.

Can you use the Lincoln jpeg for individual reposts of individual posts? It seems like it would be relevant if it is in response to an almost verbatim rehash of a post that is quoted only 3 or 4 posts prior.

No, you cannot. Posting another pic of Thierry Pastel is in support of someone elses position, since we were asked, "Best shoulder to waist ratio in the history of the sport?" This is much different than just posting the same exact article about a robbery. Reposting something in support of something or someone else (and I did it on purpose), is much different than accidentally reposting an article, in which you did not know was already posted.

Please see the getbig handbook about this: Section 4, Article XIV for further information.

This thread would have been useless without a Jizzo pic.

Generally speaking, I think it has more to do with proportions. That first guy has a great upper body and is lean but the long torso makes it look like he's never squatted.

+1 on the Jizz pic.

And any picture of Thierry Pastel should come with a disclaimer that he's actually 4'8" tall.

Paul Dillet would have been a great Mr. Olympia.  Best arms in the history of the sport.  Back was lacking, but so what.  Dorian was missing an arm, phil heath is missing a chest, etc.  Paul had an awesome physique.  Brought true size and conditioning, and had no gut.

I believe it was more like 5'1-5'2. Because I think there are pics where Lebrada towers over him. And there is an article from an old Flex where he talks about his height. I could be wrong.

I know I was there. The placings after Ronnie who won and Levrone who got 2nd were screwy.

Don't remember he might have. It was a great show though Wayne Demilia knew how to run a show. I have pics from the show somewhere, If I ever find them I will post them.
