Sorry if this has been asked, did some searching, did not find what I was looking for.
I never had the ol' egg whites and oatmeal combo and tried it yesterday.
Did one cup of oats, the whole 500ml liquid egg whites and it was disgusting. Tasted very salty. I added a serving (150-200gr) frozen field berries for taste and even then, tasted like licking a brick of salt.
I've read to add splenda and cinnamon but not sure that can counter the bad taste. Does it work? If so how much of each would really help me out.
I add a scoop of vanilla iso with the berries to the cooked oats and it tastes awesome. Very sweet, yet total health food.
So any tips on making this taste good would be appreciated.

I like to add cinnomon and vanilla extract to the oats
Peanut butter tastes great in the oats too
My fav is Irish steel cut oats in the crockpot overnight with cinnomon apples raisins vanilla extract and a lil brown sugar
It's a bit of work for the slow cooker one but it tastes amazing and smells incredible

Use cinnamon and a bit of pure maple syrup in steel cut oats.
Eat whole eggs, scrambled, over low heat.
-
I prefer eggs and grits. I saw ronnie coleman doing that in one of his video and it tastes much better to me than eggs and oats. If i remember correctly, he also added a powdered cheese to it as well.

IMO breakfast is a fat meal... These days I'm down to 1 meal per day. I've never been leaner.
-
bah, just much easier to put all that shit in the blender and make pancakes. The added banana has it nice and moist, no syrup needed.

I find the banana is key though. Keeps it moist and smells so good!

When I used to eat oats I would soak the oats in boiling water in a closed container until it all the liquid was absorbed.
Then I would mix in the cooked eggs (mostly egg whites and one or two whole eggs), then salt, freshly ground pepper and some grated pecorino romano
I could eat this hot or just stick it in the fridge and eat it cold later.
These days I eat poached eggs over lentils (lentils are mixed with lots of spinach, tomatos, garlic and curry powder and cooked in a large batch)
I had 4 poached eggs over lentils for breakfast this morning

I eat every morning 10 egg whites, 3 yolks, oats, cinnamon, maca powder, small spoon of coconut oil I put it in a pan and stir the mixture till it gets cooked. Then, I put 2 big spoons of honey in the mix and start eating with some yogurt on the side.
It taste pretty good or atleast I like it.

I also used to do something similar but would make it into a giant pancake which I could then eat either hot or cold

Make my oat meal thin So i can drink it quickly. Fuck oatmeal, scramble my eggs and put fresh salsa on them whites or wholes don't matter as long as u only taste salsa
-
I usually just add a couple teaspoons of honey to my oats and it does the trick
-
There is zero reason to eat oat meal. Stick to eggs, and a lot of them.
-
try to use maple syrup, it will really make your meal tasty :D
-
Eggs : hot sauce
Oats: sugar free jam, brown splendia (sugarless brown sugar), sugar free chocolate syrup, protein powder.
-
I add cinnamon, honey and a banana. Usually that is my post-workout meal at 8AM.
-
-Basted or poached eggs with salt and pepper. -Oats (oatmeal) with butter and sugar and sometimes fresh fruit. Berries are the best.

Add 2 tbsp of PB2 to your oats, only 45calories, 1.5 grams of fat, 3 carbs.

I never got the coleman throw everything in a bowl deal. He did use grits though which were more neutral in flavor. Egg whites cam be delicious on their own and so can oatmeal if made to a proper consistency so why make yourself more miserable if you are eating these things regularly by making the meal as hard to get down as possible? I would just eat them separately..

Fucking voice of sanity, why the fuck would you pack your belly with extra carbs? Too ripped? Afraid of dying of Muntzeritis?

Scramble the eggs and mix with the oats.
Then add in organic honey and raisins...... boom! Tasty breakfast!
-
blend: 0.5dl water, 5 jumbo eggs, 2 big spoons high protein greek yogurt, oatmeal, whey protein powder favorite flavor, banana, cinnamon
I have 3 of them daily between meals. It's like a ice cream. I can't stop drinking them. ;D
