No. Read the article. It was done to avoid a prejudiced court case. Common in many countries and a good thing. The last thing you want is that scum getting off because a jury could not make an unbiased decision on guilt.

Social media can also have an effect as well.

Smells fishy. I did read the article on Dailymail, I still don't understand why it was blocked if not for PC BS and mass manipulation purposes.
