Read an article by Dr. Joel Seedman.
45lb plate swings instead of using a kettlebell.
I loved them! The shape and size of the plate force you to open your hips.
The height of the plate force you to hip hinge instead of squatting.
Gripping the plate makes setting the shoulders correctly very easy.
I prefer these over kettle bells.

45lbs for swings? Sets of 50?
My kbs at home go to 161lbs and I weight 205....
the gym I go to only has 20lb kettlebells so these were fun to do
Of course a 161lb kb is going to be better but if U wanted a variation every now and then u should try out the plate swings
Or u could try a double 100lb plate swing where u hold the plates sideways
Or if someone is struggling with form this could help them

Kettle bell swing is for shoulders? Swing it around and shit like cross fitters?

Kettle bell swing is for shoulders? Swing it around and shit like cross fitters?
its more for the hips and hamstrings I feel
Teaches the hip hinge pattern
Proper swings light up the core and posterior chain
Your shoulders get hit more in the American swing-I think that's what's the overhead version is called
But if u have messed up shoulders and poor internal rotation then you're gonna have trouble with the swing
When U start to go heavy and fast in the swing imbalances and disfunctions surface-forward head or neck extension, low back bad extension, feet turning out, forward rolled shoulders, lack of hip extension etc
