Title: The Old Red Dude in the gym
Post by: Never1AShow on February 07, 2016, 12:14:12 PM
On the Lat pull down machine today and I look across the gym floor and see this old dude struggling away curling.  Decent build but I notice he has that reddish maroon high blood pressure look to him, kinda like he's on something far past the time he should have stopped.

Then I also realize that this "old red dude" is something of a gym fixture or archetype in the various gyms I have trained at.  There's always an old red dude in the gym at some point.

Oh yeah I saw "Big Red" at my gym yesterday

Short dude, mid 40s, tanned, salt pepper gelled hair, bright red face, veiny arms and synthol in delts
Looked like he was gonna drop dead mid set

Not entirely Santa Claus, but equally obviously unnaturally red.

Guy at my gym like that too. He's about 60, looks like he used to be pretty jacked, but downsized big time but definitely still on TRT. He gets mad at anyone who tries to work in with him and gives them a lecture about how he will beat the shit out of them.

I saw the short red young dude at the gym yesterday.  He had a purplish/red hue to his skin tone and acne on his biceps.

These guys seem to be common at this one gym I go to where tren and eq must be quite popular.  I should sell accutane.

That's what I've been saying! Do they not notice they resemble a lobster and think just for a moment that something is wrong?

If you're doing enough that it makes you red with high blood pressure, you shouldn't have started in the first place. Age has no bearing on this. More and more young folks are having strokes.

There is a fellow who is probably not yet 30 who works out at the gym I go to. He's very red. He obviously tans, but I suspect from the look of his not-so-natural physique that he's doing a fair amount of ABS too.

He sounds like a joke. You don't lecture/tell people how you will beat the shit out of them, you just do it.

This fellow has a redheads complexion, minus the freckles.
