this classic jobber match is better than the entire product today:
just look at that crowd reaction. and look at the press slam to the floor.
unreal.

Lol.....your just a huge Warrior mark aren't you? 8)
You should buy his recent DVD. Its done properly with his biography and how he got into wrestling, etc. Not like the self destruction dvd which turned into a slam fest.

That was some good selling. The guy went down from that chop like he was shot. 8)

Because he wanted a job the following week.

Remember the good old days... there was an actually a jobber dept...
Super stars would fight jobbers every week until the big pay per view or wrestlemania.. funny how Hogan only did live shows, Saturday main event , wrestlemania... then he would do pay per views..

I remember there would be matches at MSG every month. Before the card was done they already had one or 2 matches announced for next month's card.
This whole, let's announce the card a week before the PPV is ridiculous. Yes Attitude era was where it was at but I did also enjoy the 80's as well..
Squash matches, 3 minute promos...selling etc..
I know wrestling always hits peaks and valleys but it has been 15 yrs since we have something earth shaking...it is about time to get over the hump...

there are way too many pay per views

Agreed. They should have no more than 4 per year.

There are more PPVs (or big events rather, on the Network) coming than ever before. I heard 24 in 2017, which is mental.
